This is a must stop for a weary pilgrim. First night in a large room, all to myself. Beautiful authentic home where the host grew up as a child. She even folded my laundry from the clothesline. Super clean and comfortable with great views and a delicious breakfast.

The rooms were spacoius and clean, beds were really comfortable. There is a kitchen and fridge, you can buy cold drinks. The breakfast was a feast.

No air-conditioning in the bedrooms although there was a sea breeze most of the time through the windows. We only struggled with the heat on the second night when it was over 30 degrees in the day. The living area had air-conditioning which was lovely when we came back very hot from a walk.

Large well equipped kitchen and separate lounge/dining area. Outside seating. Bedrooms were a good size and comfortable. Host was lovely and the breakfast was good.

Beautiful hosts and excellent breakfast!! Despite language differences we communicated well. We were given a lift into Viana do Castile when we couldn’t get a taxi!!!

The breakfast was nice, all fresh ingredients (bread, croissant, local ham and cheese, jams etc and also coffee and multiple juices. The location is very pretty, in the hills next to a (very small) town. My room had a balcony and a large bed. The shared bathroom was also good, definitely not a dealbreaker!

There is nothing not to like here.

This family run guest house was amazing. It is an oasis of tranquillity! I was greeted warmly with coffee and a croissant with cheese. My room was spacious and on the ground floor with the bathroom just next door. Everything was clean and the bathroom was modern with a nice shower. Breakfast was included but unfortunately I had to leave early as I had a long walk ahead. The host kindly did my laundry for me, such a lovely lady. The house is situated a little off the Camino but you will really miss out if you don't stay here. I spent the afternoon relaxing in the lovely garden.

Absolutely lovely guesthouse run by a really friendly and kind family. The rooms are big and comfortable, the shower is great and the garden is absolutely gorgeous - so relaxing and well taken care of. The highlight for us was the generous and delicious breakfast, we felt absolutely spoiled in the best way. The location is also great, Anha is a really nice village and if you are walking the Camino, this place is perfect!

Sooo quiet and peaceful, which is just what I needed after days staying at hostels. The property is in a gorgeous area and the grassy area was perfect for a post-Camino yoga session. Breakfast was a fantastic way to start the day and I was able to was all my clothes for a small fee. The staff were so nice!

Great value for money. It was my first room by myself on the Camino, as a treat. The hospitality was fantastic. Since arriving in Portugal I’ve developed an allergy’s cough. I asked the host in the morning if she had anything for a cough, expecting possibly cough sweets, instead she made me a homemade cough mixture from homemade honey and lemons. Which really did help!! This place is an absolute rural gem on the Camino. There’s also a little restaurant just a 5 min walk away.

Such a warm welcoming guesthouse. Bedroom had beautiful view of the countryside, easily viewable from my bed. Lovely garden out the back to sit and enjoy sunshine. The host was a lovely woman, who generously washed and dried my clothes and provided a great breakfast.
