TV in my room only had sound, no image. Tv command was old and buttons didn't work properly. Mattress was too rigid, woke up in pain. Extractor fan from the bathroom was on since 7 AM and it was so loud that woke both of us and there was no way of turning it off. Jacuzzi missed buttons.

The staff always extremely nice, the indoor pool was really nice by end of day after hiking around. The food either dinner or breakfast are very good. Nice bar service.

Refusal for food. Not even a bar menu. We were close to leaving, but so glad we didn't.

What a find. Out in the middle of nowhere, it was great. Great hotel, good parking. However, in the middle of nowhere, so you have to eat in hotel. We got there at 1730 to be told we cannot eat there as no room in restaurant. With some persuasion, the 'head of catering' got us in, so we could eat. Book a table in advance or don't go. Room was fabulous as was the swimming pool with incredible views. We would definitely go again as long as we can book a table. Next time we will stay longer, it's that good.

No WiFi at all. I went with my family on a escape holiday but had to do some work stuff. We stayed on a backend room with no WiFi at all, even the TV for my kid to watch Cartoons were unbareable, everything pixelized. I requested a room with WiFi and the staff said they were not available. We went online and saw we were able to reserve the rooms. Even with us paying the difference the girl was ridiculous incompetent, unable to make us the upgrade even with us paying. She made us change the room but with even worst Internet without even connecting. If you go on work related stuff please do not choose this hotel, they only have Internet in the middle of the corridors were the access points are mounted so inside the rooms you have none. The pool bar was always empty without staff to order stuff. We will never come back and we will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Hotel room smelled of humidity as we arrived. We asked if we could upgrade for rooms with views and we did (paying more money) but the view were the pool with all the guests in it, and that room also smelled with humidity. Coffee was undrinkable at breakfast and the food was very dull and limited. Hotel looks like it was abandoned somewhere in the 80's, undated, dark and humid.

location is in a beautiful area although far from any facilities like restaurants and such. the stuff was very pleasant.

Absoluley nothing.

We booked a simple double room as we spend very little time in it. We were offered an upgrade but didn't think it was necessary for our plans for our 4 night stay. The hotel has a spacious pool area with plenty of loungers and a pool bar serving snacks and drinks. Breakfast was excellent as were the evening meals we had in the restaurant. The staff were extremely pleasant. Situated as it is on the top of the hill the views from the pool area and restaurant looking down on the Zezere barrage and beyond into the hills are stunning (pity about the windmills but they're every where now). We parked the motorbikes opposite reception but the hotel provides ample parking to the one side. The best access road is not the one opposite the fuel station which is narrow and steep but further along - still quite steep but wider - at the cobbled T junction go right.

The limited menu for the half board option, not the entire menu was available as a choice, which limited a lot when when you end up staying a few nights.

The spa's time schedules, they just don't make sense in low season. The hotel was almost empty and me and my 6 year old son couldn't use the pool in the afternoon because reasons and rules, only after 6pm. So we basically had 1h30 in the morning and 1h30 in the afternoon. If you had (like we did) a restaurant in Pedrógão Grande booked for 20h it basically meant that we could only stay in the pool for 30/45 minutes. Plus the jacuzzi was on maintenance, so we didn't really took advantage of the spa. In the morning the spa opens at 10h30, meaning that if we need to checkout at 12h, then it's another half hour.

The spar was cold, not pleasant to sit comfortably in for any length. The steam room seating was freezing. You hire a gown for €10 for two, they didn’t fit my husband at all, who is not over weight, and when returning them you did not get the €10 returned, this was not explained at all.

we have visited many times this year but on this occasion the hotel was nearly empty . The bar and restaurant ,as a result ,were soulless with no background music , no heating and no attempt to make the evening pleasurable.

The views from the hotel are astounding, The room was clean and the staff in the reception and the dining area very helpful. we had an evening meal which was really good quality and a good portion size. There was nothing to complain about and we certainly go back again

Breakfast needs a different variety of food; perhaps boiled or fried eggs & also some tomatoes & mushrooms & olive oil. The coffee was too strong for a couple of days & some fresh juice instead of sugar water

The view & the sangria...... However, for breakfast, Nothing ever changed; the same every single day. I do not eat pork so only the scrambled eggs available to me & bread plus fruit.
