Just a bit of a walk from the Camino trail, my friend felt a bit uncomfortable with workmen in the garden when we were relaxing, this didn't bother me.

Victor the host was very welcoming. The bathroom was lovely and spacious and had a bathtub 🛁. The room had a medieval theme. The gardens were beautiful. There was seating outside the room. We were offered a free drink on arrival and an icepack for my knee . We had lovely toasties and salad made for dinner as it was too much of a rush to go in the taxi to the restaurant.

Nothing, this place is wonderful

I can't rave about this gorgeous place enough! From the entry at the huge main gate, to the welcome from the owner and other staff, to the beauty of our room, our stay was perfect. We felt like royalty in a castle. It's a little bit off the Camino, but well worth the extra steps.

An oasis! The property is beautiful and our room was so luxurious. A very comfortable bed, very restful and a lovely bath with a large garden bath that let us have a warm soak after a long day of pilgrimage. Our host Victor and his staff Brenda were so warm and welcoming. They helped us with reservations for dinner and reserved us a fun taxi - it was special. Early the next day they served a delicious breakfast to fortify us for our journey. We will visit again and stay at least 2 days.

Beautiful big room, Huge bathroom. Comfy bed. We walked back into town for dinner. Breakfast is available for 10 euros. Welcome drink provided on arrival.

A little far from Camino and restaurants, but a taxi can be arranged for supper.

Beautiful grounds and room. Swimming pool was refreshing after a long, hot day on the Camino. Friendly and helpful host. Drinks available for purchase.

I stayed here one night while walking the Camino and it would be a great place to return to. The room was beautiful, as was the entire property. Enjoyed swimming and laying by the pool. Dinner was quite nice and it was lovely to eat out on the patio with other guests and enjoy good conversation. Breakfast was good as well. The owners seem like really wonderful people.

The brother and sister team who served me, went above and beyond. You sensed that they really cared. The place is a little further that I expected off the Camino but nothing to keep you from staying here. This is a high recommend. The girl named “Felipa” (I think) was a charming host who everybody felt comfortable around. The pool looked nice and clean and there is a spiritual calm that is felt within. Un Buen Camino.

It was a beautiful place, the grounds were green and kept very well. The room was gorgeous, a free upgrade with a sitting room. The bathroom was huge and modern with old world charm. Loved the pool and hot tub!

Reception closing time at 5pm. It was the end of a long stretch of Camino. I couldn't take time to enjoy the walk as I had to get there for such an early closing time.

There were added extras which weren't the part of booking. Very interesting place with history.

I liked everything... the hostess and host, location and accommodations were fantastic!

Spectacular!! Very very close to the Camino if you are walking it! The brother and sister host and hostess were so kind and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful. The grounds were magnificent! The pool was terrific. The jacuzzi was perfect and welcome after a long hike. Our room was private and large; it was set in old stone and decorated lovely. We sat right outside our room and watched twilight descend to night. Breakfast was ample and varied. Definitely try the Casas's homemade apple juice so naturally delicious. I can't say enough to tell anyone how wonderful this place is!!!

Everything! Host Filipa is an angel, she made my stay to the best so far during the Camino. She prepared a special lunch when I arrived very hungry and made sure I had a sandwich the next day although I hadn’t ordered breakfast. Thanks to the weather lying next to the pool was the perfect relaxation after a long day of walking. The room was great, all very charming. Although it’s further away from the Camino it was very much worth it. Thank you so much Filipa!

The hostess Filipa was outstanding - she was welcoming, friendly and so helpful with local advice. The room was spacious and comfortable and the pool and jacuzzi facilities excellent. The breakfast too was excellent. Gives you a good a feel for the Portuguese Camino walk

If the rooms were cooled, it’b more a little more perfect. However, we did not melted from the heat 😝

The hosts were more than friendly. They did everything they could and even beyond to meet our wishes. I can only recommend going there! They sure deserve more attention!

It was a little further from the Camino than I realized but I wouldn’t let that put people off as it’s an easy walk and we’ll worth the detour. I would definitely recommend this to pilgrims as a beautiful stop on the way to Santiago

It’s like something out of a Hollywood movie incredible! The staff were so helpful and I really loved staying here.
