Some might complain about proximity of restaurants but we had no problem with that and Hugo will give you a list of places in the area

The property was exceptional, the building was around 123 years old but you would think it was built yesterday, Hugo's mum runs the place and is a lovely lady who cant do enough for you, excellent secure parking, and really good continental breakfast, Mum doesn't speak English but should you need anything she wil ring Hugo who does,next to the hotel isa chemist, bar/supermarket and post office

The casa is practically a hotel, with all the features of a hotel. Generous breakfast with a large variety and good products, such as fresh fruit, cheese, meat, serials... Good beds , fantastic shower... Warm hospitality. On top of being fantastic, the rates are very reasonable and cost-effective.. The best of the three quintas we had in this region.

Located in perfect place. The house is well decorated with all the facilities you need. Hugo and his mother are very welcoming and the breakfast Hugo’s mom made was excellent especially the homemade cake.

We loved everything: the warm welcome, the explanations about the place, and the friendly hosts. It's a tastefully designed boutique hotel, with super clean and luxurious room. The only thing I think would add value to the place is a pool for longer stays that would be a great plus, but that's not essential, and everything was really good. Can't say there was something I didn't like, since I liked everything.

The breakfast, the rooms, the entire decoration and the house, wanted to stay even more days.

We needed to phone the owner to get access, and that should have been either in the confirmation email or on a sign by the doorbell.

The building and decor are beautiful - it felt luxurious from the moment we stepped in. The host were friendly and helpful. Our host 'mom' was absolutely lovely.

Our stay was wonderful. My daughter enjoyed the house and its history. The house is just beautiful and well-decorated, with a family touch. Dona Isabel is lovely and made our stay fantastic.

The drain of the shower was blocked by a lot of hair. Now and than it's necessary to check this. But in general a very cosy and superclean room!

The beautiful house, the hospitality, the warm welcome with an interesting story about the meaning of the word moiano. A perfect starting point to visit the different serra's. A place to come back to!

This was by far the best guesthouse we have stayed at and will be forever grateful of the welcome we received by the family. They all went beyond to ensure our stay was perfect and to make us feel at home and they are wonderful people! The house is just beautiful, fully refurbished with all the amazing features restored. The interiors of furnishings are that of a 5*hotel as well as the service! We throughly enjoyed our stay which is also perfect for small children which they accommodate for and no one complains about the toddlers running free.

The stay is highly recommended.Our stay on Casa Moirano was heart warming and satisfying. The place is run by a family, which make sure the guests enjoy their stay as much as possible. The staff are very welcoming, generous, offering assitance in every way, and verify constantly that our needs are met. The room we stayed ib was clean, orderly and well equipped. The house itself is also new and pleasant to stay in the shared places such as the living room and the dining room. The breakfast was rich and tasty. We felt that they put much attention and care for every detail .

Window of our room on topfloor was so high, I could only look out standing on the chair.

Everything clean and seemed new, friendly host, good breakfast, safe parking. Best bread of all of Portugal, says my brother, from the local padaria/café.

Being an old house, sometimes you can smell the sewage, although everything is perfectly clean and sanitized every day.

This is an historic house with more than 100 years old, fully recovered. The interior decoration is so beautiful and made with such great taste. Every detail is absolutely beautiful. Free WiFi inside and outside the house. The location is good if you are traveling by car. In 10 to 30 minutes you can go to another beautiful village or a wonderful river beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Mrs Bela does everything she can to make you comfortable, a lovely lady! I only spent 2 days, but definitely want to come back! Come, you will love it!
