There was a small comunication error because I didn't receive the messages that the receptionist sent me asking for our arrival time. It was no fault of theirs though.

The breakfast was delicious with a bowl of fresh cut fruit, museli, coffe, and some meats, cheese, & breads - perfect for two! The billards table was located in the basement along with a chess board and a bar. The pool was out back but it closed by 7pm so we weren't able to take a dip. It was a really unique and beautiful location with a very friendly and ready-to-help staff.

Everything was good

We had an amazing time! The hosts are helpful, generous and very friendly. The room and the rest of the place is beautiful with amazing decorations and art and set in an historic building. A lovely place to stay. The accommodation is in the centre of Estoi, right in front of the church. Perfect for whom is looking for a peaceful and laidback place to stay.

The pool was a little dirty, doesn’t seem to be cleaned often so we were hesitant to use it. Other than that no big issues

We loved the host, he was very attentive and answered all the questions we had. The room was very clean and spacious with a working kettle and bath/shower. The outside may make you a bit questionable but the inside is lovely. It has so much personality to it.

Unfortunately a family bereavement meant we didn't really see the hosts so there wasn't much interaction about breakfast etc but we understand.

Great location in the village - close to cafe and the two local restaurants plus easy to walk to Roman ruins at Milreu.

Being out of season and obviously not being occupied for a while the bathroom and outdoor area could have done with a clean and tidy. Having said that I will be coming back.

The host was excellent, and the location was fantastic if you are looking for a taste of the Algarve away from the big resorts and golf courses. The accommodation is traditional and opulent.

The breakfast had very few options and the fresh items were actually warm. The bathroom in our room was a bit outdated and dim, although it worked just fine. The hotel is right next to the village's church, which means you will hear the church's bells every half hour - it didn't bother us, but it can be annoying for someone who doesn't appreciate any noise

We only stayed one night but the hotel is very well located, right in the center of the village, and although it does not have its own parking area, you can easily park nearby. The hotel is very charming, it's a beautiful old house, with a distinctive architecture and historical and pleasing interiors and decoration. Our room was very clean and thanks to the AC, we had a good night's sleep in the middle of summer.

The place is incredibly clean and beautifully traditionally furnished. The staff are unbelievably gracious, and it’s in the heart of town across from the main church, and a quick walk to both the Roman ruins, and Palacio Estoi.
