Nothing unpleasant. It is up 2 flights of stairs so mobility issues would be a problem. We did not have any.

Eduardo’a place is located right next to the castle in the historic area. It is a 2 minute walk tothe main square with many restaurants. Eduardo was very responsive answering our quesstions beforw& during our stay.

cosy apartment in the heart of the most characterful part of Castelo de Vide. The fantastic hosts gave us lots of great recommendations and had a real love of the area. Would definitely stay again!

The host Eduardo was super friendly, very kind and generous and we had a beautiful gift basket of local and homemade treats as well as fruit waiting for us when we arrived. Eduardo met us personally to welcome us and give us the key and had many suggestions of interesting sites and nature hikes, since we were staying for eight days. We found the location so charming and beautifully situated, just around the corner from the castle walls on a quaint and quiet cobbled street, festooned with pots of flowers. The apartment was roomy and comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with pots and dishes for self catering. We had a fantastic stay!

The apartment is located in the historic center of Castelo de Vide. It's an old house, but beautifully refurbished. It has everything needed to feel comfy, even a nice little terrace that was especially charming for having breakfast in the sun. Eduardo is an amazing host, always available for any question or assistance, friendly and with very good hints about activities or restaurants.

A bit of a walk to the accommodation as you cannot park there as it is in a pedestrian only section of the town. But it really didn’t bother us at all once we found it.

Very convenient location to explore the town. The welcome basket was very nice and we appreciated it and the gesture.

An apartment was so cozy, well equipped. Around so calm neighbourhood. The host prepared for us a small surprise, a basket with cheese, fruits and cake what was so nice. The host Eduardo was so helpful with recommendations about places to visit, hiking trails, restaurants. Casa da Judiaria just take care about visitors so well.

Great location. It is very well equipped and very well located. The staff was incredible - it is winter time and the AC was on for our arrival. Highly recommend.

Great location around the corner from the town's castle and nestled on the hill in the midst of the old jewish quarter. The lodging is spacious, clean, well laid out and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and had lots of little supplies that would assist any visitor's stay. The view from the window on one side overlooked the old neighborhood walkway, and on the other side there was a lovely view over the valley below the town. We loved this place and truly appreciated Eduardo the host's assistance upon arrival and during our stay. He met us at the door, helped us carry our luggage up the stairs, and we were greeted upon arrival in the room with a gift basket of fruits, cheeses, crackers, jelly, a bottle of beer and the like. Eduardo was a pleasure to talk to and provided us insights on the region, local history, and life in Portugal in general. It was a great human connection and so much better than the sterile interaction with many lodgings' outdoor code boxes that offer zero human contact on arrival. And BTW on the day of departure, he even drove us to the bus station in the adjacent town. Couldn't have felt more welcomed and we highly recommend it.

In the morning we could hear our neighbors above very clearly. The apartment has one AC in the living room but it is not enough to cool the bedroom even if to leave the door open

Well equipped apartment and wonderful host who was readily available and provided lots of good information on what to see and do in the area. Bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the large sofa bed in the living room that could easily fit 2 people. Access to apartment requires a bit of a climb up cobblestone streets, but this was part of the charm. Very close to the castle and free parking was available a few minutes walking distance. Highly recommend.

Perfect location, comfortable and incredibly beautiful. They are dog friendly and very helpful giving us a lot of tips and recommendations of places to visit around.

Off-site parking was a small price to pay (pedestrian access only). The unit was not sound proof to other guests staying in the same building.

Recently renovated unit in the middle of the historic town. The kitchen was well equipped, living area was nice and the bed was comfortable. The host was enthusiastic and we appreciated the welcome basket. It was a wonderful stay and we wished we had scheduled a longer stay.

Nothing really. Even the exercise needed to go up and down the hills was very welcomed. 😂

The friendliness of the host. The facilities were amazing in a town that has a certain magic to it. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended!!
