The team took great care of every of our wishes! Carla welcomed us in a very friendly way. She also arranged restaurant bookings for dinner on behalf of us. The breakfast was magnificent and one of the best we had in the Azores.

Carla and the staff were very kind and available. They helped us a lot during our stay, which was unforgettable. The rooms are perfect, they make you feel really in touch with nature. Furthermore, the breakfast with local products is something you’re gonna remember of. I wish I could fly back to caparica ecolodge!

If they would put a window glass with a thin curtain ( you can open and close) instead of the milky glass in between the bedroom and the shower, the room would be much brighter. It is quite dark, when it's raining.

The setting is great - you are surrounded by bush and even tree ferns. Very quiet. We booked a lodge with sea view and enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The staff was great, especially Carla, who gave us a lot of good suggestions, what to visit, where to eat etc.The breakfast is 5 star! We would come back anytime.

This type of accommodation means you have to forfeit other things. No lift, so only stairs (although they have a small rope lift for luggage) . And a small bungalow specially if you have 1 or 2 kids and many bags. Again, not an issue if you are OK with this. Location is hard to reach, but worth it.

Super friendly staff, exceptional nature location which is really well integrated, respecting it's surroundings. If this is your style, you will love it. Pool looked nice also, wish we could have enjoyed it. Breakfast delicious with local ingredients.

What an adventure! I can't say enough good things about Carla and the staff. We had a gorgeous "pod" high above the forest with a sea view. Amazing location! Incredibly beautiful surroundings. It was extremely windy and rainy on the days we were on Terceira, so we didn't get to go as many places as we wished. Be aware, this is very open plan, with no door on the bathroom. Also, if you are older or less mobile, it's a hike up through the forest. The creators of this place really took so much into consideration, and it's extremely private, quiet and every place you look is gorgeous.

In such a damp environment like the Azores, the room had a light musty smell

Carla and the staff were incredibly helpful in recommending activities and securing us reservations at restaurants. They were very kind and taught us a lot about the island. We had delicious breakfasts and enjoyed staying in treehouse-style cottages. Great location and views!

The ecolodge is a beautiful place to stay completely in nature. The lodges are very comfortable and well equipped. The whole team is very friendly and helpful, and Carla at the front desk, was amazing always with a smile, and welcomed us very well giving us so many tips about the Island (Made our stay even better!). Just next to the lodge there is a beautiful trail worth exploring.

Everything about the lodge was stunning, from the reception to the views to the architecture. The individual cottages blended with their natural surroundings, and the architecture of the entire property followed suit. It was clear the owners carefully planned every detail to delight their guests. Thank you for a marvelous stay!!

It was perfect - exceeded All expectations

This is the only place to stay on Terceira. This made our trip! Location: Awesome modern clean cabin in the middle of a Stunning, expansive forest full of flowers and a shared pool. Insanely welcoming staff - Carla is amazing - she was so helpful and understanding. Maria is also wonderful. We have a 6m old baby and we’re nervous about childcare but the sweetest couple in the world watched our baby for us!! I felt so comfortable with everyone and we were surrounded by serenity. Ecolodge exceeded expectations in every way

The stay itself was fabulous. One thing to keep in mind is that this is located in Biscoitos which, while picturesque and quiet, is located on the north of the island, on the opposite side from Angra, where there are more restaurant options (especially veggie-friendly).

Amazingly peaceful, nestled into the side of a hill amidst serene nature and with views of the ocean, we loved our stay at Caparica Azores Ecolodge. The rooms are little wooden cabins, each inspired by a Portuguese artist. We were in Paula, the best one in our opinion as it seemed more set apart from the others, and therefore the quietest. Joaquim and Carla were amazing, they hosted us with kindness and generosity, and we felt warmly welcomed and at home. They helped with advice, restaurant reservations, even wrangling a takeaway from a restaurant that doesn't usually deliver. They really made the vacation feel like a vacation.
