It's worth noting that nothing is in walking distance from the hostel. You definitely need a car (or maybe bikes) to reach Carvalhal or Comporta.

The place was beautiful & super clean. Really big room ,and we also had use of the kitchen for cooking our evening meals which was helpful as Comporta is very expensive and all of the restaurants are very fancy, which is not always suitable for young kids. We borrowed buckets, spades and a beach umbrella from the hostel too, which was really helpful.

Location is in a bit of a secluded area with very little around it. You need a car to access the rest of Comporta successfully.

Rooms were clean, and facilities had everything we needed. The breakfast was awesome. Along with a variety of options, the staff made pancakes and offered to make us scrambled eggs.

Everything what we needed. Clean and comfortable bed, spacious room a lovely communal kitchen where you could cook your own meal. The room had a big fridge. The breakfast was basic but you could spice it up with your own fruits and items you can buy in the local supermarket. Coffee was really good… and tasty. They made egg dishes for breakfast if you fancied. The property was very stylish and even had a pool and a spacious terrace to hang out. Great location to explore the area.

Very comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated! The social area, kitchen, and outdoor space are excellent and well-organized. The bedrooms are super comfortable. The bar/shop downstairs is very convenient.

The design is pure and clean cut. Love the small details - it really feels like a design hotel. The breakfast is amazing. And I loved the swimming pool: very clean and perfect to cool off after a run.

Very nice spacious place, lovely common areas where we met other guests and watched the semifinal ⚽️ The nice suprise was that we could use the kitchen which was very helpful. The pool is nice ce but small And as it was quite windy and fresh we didn’t use it as much as we would have liked to. There also were plenty of sun-umbrellas, and beach games we could borrow. Beach was 5 min driving away as well As restaurants 5-20 min. There is not much going on otherwise in the village, but nothing is far and amazing g beaches around the area. Breakfast was ok, simple ,good coffee and juices

Great location and base camp close to several of the beaches along the cost. Good value for money. Small room but functional. Common kitchen are where you can cook your own food. Friendly staff. Restaurant next door for cold beers and food. Pool on the premise (did not use).

Breakfast was perfect, could get cooked eggs with a decent array of other options. Super friendly staff always helpful! I loved the cafe and bar attached on the side as I had a few dinners there too. Will be back!

Nothing not to like!

Cool vibe, decor was simple but very stylish. Our two particular rooms were such a perfect size and loved having the balcony. Really enjoyed taking our delicious breakfast outside and sitting in the sunshine and at the end of the day a tea outside the little shop. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Despite the location being on the through road, it’s ideally situated for beaches and dinner out at the nearby hotels and Comporta itself.

We should have stayed longer!

Ground floor room was perfect for our family of four. Clean with plenty of space. We hired a car, and the main town of Comporta and all the beaches were super easy to get to. Everyone at the accommodation was very friendly. Breakfast choices were simple but satisfying with the choice of eggs made to order. We would recommend and return for another stay.
