The location of the flat is great! You can reach all the surf spots very quickly by car. The flat had everything you need. Nothing was missing. Everything is a bit older, but functional. The hosts are super friendly. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

The apartment is across the street from one of the louder restaurants and often in the evenings, they would have DJs or karaoke (which you could hear from the apartment quite loudly). Luckily, it didn't go past midnight. Nothing can be done, of course, but if you're a light sleeper - bring earplugs.

Lovely host, very welcoming. Convenient location. Apartment had all the amenities (the bbq was a pleasant surprise). Beds were comfortable. Apartment was spotlessly cleaned.

The shower (especially in the upstairs apartment) is pretty small. Okey for me, but for very tall / broad or overweight people might a bit uncomfortable.

The apartments are perfectly located in walking distance to everything, beach, surfspots, restaurants and I appreciated the parking spot on the property. The hosts were super friendly which made the stay even better. The apartment itself is simple but with everything you need. Typical traditional Portuguese interior. Not beautiful but functional enough. I would come back here anytime because I felt so welcome and comfy. I also liked the balcony very much. Protected from the wind and sunny and warm :)

The place is close to Baleal beaches for surfing. You can walk or drive 3 mins to the beach. The apartment was very clean; you can tell the owners take pride in their apartments. The bed linens were spotless and there were plenty of towels. We only stayed 2 nights but the kitchen had everything you need for a longer stay, including a washing machine. Highly recommend.

There is not a real reception, but the hosts' villa. You have to ring the bell and wait for them to come to the door to talk to you or hand you the keys (or pick them, at checkout). The TV does have a wide range of channels, but the wires are down and the operator doens't fix them, hence only about 21 channels really work. They said they are going to change operator at the end of August. The wi-fi is fine, though, we were able to attend classes and important meetings for over three hours

The hosts are very friendly and kind and they are ready to meet with your needs whenever you express them (within reason of course). Always there for you if anything needs fixing or replacing. The location is OK and you have secure parking in a quiet courtyard in a country village. Apartments are good and well furnished

Rooms could get very stuffy and hot at night. Only way to circulate the air was to open all the windows. Not the safest option in a new town (in our opinion). Bathroom is a bit small for a family of 4 adults. Be aware that the Baleal region is very humid. Unless you put your clothes out early in the morning on the clothesline, they will not be fully dried by the evening. Definitely do not leave them on the clothesline overnight. The humid ocean air will wet them. This is a problem experienced by anyone who does not have a dryer. There is a laundromat with dryers close by if you get stuck.

We chose this location based on the proximity to our family living in Portugal and to the beach. We also liked the fact that all three families travelling together could have their own spaces. Hosts were very receptive and kind. The appartement was very clean. Washing machine was essential since we went to the beach every day.
