Two floors up, no lift. The bed was very firm for our old bones. A mattress topper would make this place to stay just perfect.

Great spot, great communication from the staff. Lovely fit out, especially the bathroom, lovely linen. Good position to walk over the bridge to the old town and up to the university. Very tasty restaurants close by.

It would be nice to have a mini-fridge in the room if staying for more than one night.

I really liked the location, the fresh renovation in the room, and the cleanliness. The toiletries (shampoo and soap) were of excellent quality. The view from the windows overlooks the Santa Clara-a-Velha Monastery. There is a public transport stop right below the windows, which can take you to the University and the Botanical Garden.

Well maintained. Archisuites was a bit hard to find. Besides a restaurant, lots of people were in front that we did not see the sign. Great location in Coimbra. No problem Parking.

Ground floor is really "0" so you climb to the "3rd" floor and 3 door locks is a little annoying. But then again it adds protection once inside.

Because we were travelling with heavy luggage, we had to struggle with the stairs. Also, for people who like to watch TV, it's just a small TV with 7 channels, that's it. We didn't care about it anyway.

Starting with the location, it's great. Just above a really nice cafeteria where I had the best ice cream in a long time, next to it there is also a great sandwich place. Parking is 50m from the location, easy to find and cheap. The apartment is on the 2nd floor in a freshly renovated beautiful building. The place is brand new, beautiful room,, very clean and cosy for a night stay. Comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower. Check in and out was super easy to make. I wish all the stays would be like this one in this range of price.

The trouble with a hot water at the morning. Hotel service did not answer the call and reacted to the message in 2 hours only. The hot water tap should stay opened for 7-10 minutes till you get a a hot water on an upper floor, this is not good for environment protection.

Nice private hotel, relatively big room, Nespresso machine with complimentary capsules, clean, near the city center (Just 5 minutes over bridge) but at the same time in quite part. Good bakeries and cafe nearby, no problems with breakfast.

The location is excellent if one travels to Coimbra by car. Easy to access, with street parking right in front and a large inexpensive parking lot nearby. It's a short walk across the bridge over to the old town. The room was spotless, with a modern interior - the basics: comfortable bed, bathroom, cofee machine. Easy to follow check-in/check out instructions. Several cafes right next to the entrance..

Would have appreciated 2 luggage racks for our suitcases, no where but the floor to put anything. Also a light on the side of the bed where the desk is, because that person could not read while the other slept, with no light source but the ceiling room light.

Spacious room with great light, airy, comfortable, gorgeous new bathroom. Exceptionally helpful host Joao gave us fantastic tips and suggestions re local transportation to get to the library and botanical gardens via mini bus, and wonderful restaurants, shopping. Easy walk to historic area & across street from bus to university, terrific fresh pasta just 10 meters away at Ragu. Great dinner at Sete restaurant by the Sta Cruz church. Nearby Aldi to shop for other essentials was very convenient.

This was an amazing accommodation. Our best so far in Portugal. The suite was bright, spacious and comfortable. Great location too. Free parking was located in a covered parking lot just around the corner. Nice restaurants nearby.

No light by the bed so had to get out of bed to turn it off. Coffee machine extension lead didn't work so had to move it into the bathroom. Had some difficulty getting in the room, didn't realise the door handle was a touch keypad as it wasn't lit up,just looked like a normal door handle. Reception supposed to be opened til 6 but didn't see anyone to ask but they had given me a number to call if I needed assistance.

Very good location. Parking 2mins away. Bars and restaurants literally on your doorstep. Very clean,nice towels and sheets.

The room was very clean, large and had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room also had a lot of light coming in but the curtains blocked out a lot of light so we were not awaken by them in the morning. Easy and smooth check in process, would highly recommend.

The view wasn't quite what I was expecting - nice but not over looking the main city.

The location for Coimbra is brilliant. Parking, the river, the city, parks and a great gelato place on your door step. The owner was so helpful with finding parking (as a car park near by was closed)

Good size room, very clean and modern. Good location, quiet, and short walk across the river to the walking streets and dining options. Easy to park car just outside the unit or carpark to the left.
