Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Genuinely the nicest welcome and customer service we’ve ever experienced in a hotel, from every member of staff without fault. The room was maintained, restocked and cleaned each day, with a nice balcony, air conditioning and secure safe. The staff were always keen to give information both about the general area and also unique events happening during our stay. The location of the hotel was ideal, being both very close to a vibrant nightlife while just far enough away to not have any issues with noise.

This was my favorite stay of all Portugal. The staff were so friendly, kind, knowledgeable and really cared about you having a good stay. There is always someone available to help you 24/7 and everyone is always more than happy to help you. The location was perfect. walking distance of restaurants, bars, shopping, pharmacies, hair salons and really anything else you would need. The staff did an amazing job cleaning our room, I have never seen a room so clean in all my nights spent at any other hotel. When we come back to Lisbon we will be staying here 100%

GreeceRoom was a little small, but sufficient due to its effective arrangement. No lift, but expected in buildings of this area.
Positioned in a very central and convenient location of local, traditional architecture. Area is generally residential and quiet during the day, but very lively at night-time with many bars located there (yet property has quiet immediate surroundings). Several coffee places with local pastries and restaurants in close range. Staff was absolutely excellent, very friendly, helpful and thoughtful, creating a sense of intimacy and making you feel welcome. Room was very clean, with a large bathroom and an interesting view to internal courtyard of local character. Overall, great value for reasonable price.

CanadaStaying here is a glutes workout - The location is in a very hilly neighborhood and there are no elevators on the location. This wouldn’t stop me from staying here again, but might be a consideration for someone with mobility issues.
We had a lovely stay with Anjo Azul. Truly the staff are outstanding. I would without hesitation stay here again. The staff were helpful, welcoming and truly went out of their way to make sure we had the absolute best stay at their hotel and in Lisbon.

Thank you to Miguel, Gisela, Paula and Elena for making our stay at Anjo Azul such a fabulous and memorable holiday. The bottle of birthday bubbly was much appreciated as was the time spent helping us with our itinerary and directions and general transport advice. The hotel is in a great location, close enough to all the bars and restaurants but surprisingly quiet . Our bed was very comfortable, the shower had good pressure and the towels were thick and fluffy. The ladies who cleaned our room kept it spotless so a big thank you to them too, especially for the unexpected towel art. We would love to return one day and would highly recommend a stay here.
