although in an old building, the appartement itself was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. kitchen has all you need, very nice bath- and bedroom, terrace. P in front, restaurants, coffee and a supermarket around the corner ... we had a very pleasant stay !

At 45 min by train from Lisabon.

Very nice appartament, quiet, with good equipement, 5 min walk from Portella de Sintra train station, supermarket also at 5 min . Rui, our host, is flexible and ready to help.

Had to take luggage up the stairs, but ok for us; two big dogs across the hall who barked occasionally.

Good location, free street parking around the corner, close to Pingo Doce for groceries, close to Main Street, can see Pena Palace and the Moor castle in the hill; gracious host with a fantastic mom who greeted us on arrival.

Since the building is old, we often heard the neighbors, but it didn't bother us. When we visited in fall, it was already getting cold so we switched on the Radiators to warm the apartment. It takes a while in the morning, but then it gets very comfy.

The apartment is situated in an old building, but has been very stylishly equipped. It was clean, the kitchen was supplied with all kitchenware for preparing own breakfasts and meals and the bedrooms are spacious and perfect for accommodating a family of 4. The host was very welcoming and answered all our questions and requests promptly.

Just a heads-up for accessibility the apartment is up a few flights of stairs. The tub area had a bit mildew, I would have preferred not to have the slip protector inside tub, it didn't feel hygienic for a short-term rental. Although we were on our honeymoon, we decided to not sleep in the larger sized bed, because it was much brighter in that bedroom and the spring mattress did not seem as comfortable. We pushed the two single foam mattresses beds together and were comfortable in the darker bedroom.

Great price for a comfortable, 3 bed sunny apartment. The kitchen was well equipped. The host was very nice and quick to respond. Convenient location near the train station, walkable to the pick up spots for bus tours etc. A few blocks from a grocery store. Nice little Cafe around the corner. Thoughtful, charming decor and overall very clean aside from a bit of mildew in bathroom. I could see a family with kids enjoying this space, it already had a high chair inside.

A bit far from historical centre. It is about 20 mins walk.

It is in a quiet residential area. Host is accommodating and easy to communicate. A good view to moorish castle and pene Palace.

Evidently, new neighbors had moved in recently, and their dogs barked constantly. The walls were a little thin, so we could hear the neighbors talking loudly every night. But only twice in the two weeks did the noise continue beyond 10pm. These things are totally out of the control of the host. I know someone else in the building left a note on the neighbors' door about the dogs, so hopefully this will be resolved soon because it was a really nice place to stay.

We were met by the host's mother who was very helpful and cheerful. Our host was easily accessible by WhatsApp. What a view from the bedroom terrace! You could see Pena Palace and the Moorish castle. The apartment was in a residential area but only about a 10-minute walk from the central historic district. We were staying for two weeks and cooking at the apartment every night, so it was nice to have a good grocery store just a couple of minutes away and a full-sized fridge! Thank you, Rui, for being such a good host.

Wifi was acting up but I think that was maybe because the weather was terrible; no elevator to the second floor which may be an issue for some

An easy walk from the Portela de Sintra train station and close to a couple of decent grocery stores if you are going to self-cater. Property is spacious, clean and comes with a fully equipped kitchen.

The location is perfect to reach Sintra, we can walk to Sintra station and take tour bus to any of the castles and palace gardens. The living room is stylish, internet is stable and kitchen is fully functional. Very good choice for a family with 2 children.

Property was a bit dated, but it was very clean and good for our short stay in Sintra.

Kitchen was well stocked. Free parking was a plus. Good size grocery store 2-3 min. walk from the apartment. While we didn’t need transportation, it was also a short walk. Quiet apartment with no street noise.
