The front door leads directly to the elevators that lead to the rooms and there is no one watching who enters or leaves the building. Might pose a security threat.

When i stayed(8-9 december 2023) there was no internet,television and no hot water in the shower. After my complaints, the staff couldn't do anything.....very dissapointing!

During my stay, the Wi-Fi was non-functional, and there were ongoing issues with the water heater, resulting in three out of four days without hot water. The resolution offered was a 50% refund, effectively covering two out of the four days or alternatively, a voucher for three free nights at the same hotel in the future. Despite these inconveniences, the staff remained friendly and provided apologies for the issues. I'm currently awaiting the refund to reflect in my bank account, hopefully it will be processed within the next couple of days.

The breakfast offered was satisfactory, complemented by the amiable staff. The cleanliness and convenient location were really good. Matosinhos is a really nice place to visit.

We needed to quickly find accomodation after our flight was canceled for 48 hours. This meant we had all our bags packed for the airport. The staff allowed us to keep our bags at the front desk so we didn't have to trek them upstairs. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We opted for the breakfast service and it did not disappoint!

AC was malfunctioning for 1 night. Housekeeping services are very random and we arrived mid afternoon to find out it wasn't done yet. For the last night of our stay we asked for an extra bed for our daughter and we were asked to pay for that upfront in a rude way.

The guy at the reception was a disaster, he simply didn't care to give a good service to the customer, specially when I arrived at the hotel making a very bad impression

Noisy and distracting. the room was very noisy you could hear like 5 rooms around you and it was very uncomfortable and scary at the times. we didn’t sleep well and left with a bad feeling.

There was no stable WIFI despite the promise of it and our telling the front desk we did not have it. Worse, there was no hot water. When I went to the lobby there were other guests complaining. The attendant just kept saying "I don't know" as to whether it would be fixed or whether we could get a refund. No WIFI, no hot water, no help. I have emailed the manager to ask for a refund.

The walls are paper-thin and we kept on hearing everyone else. We had issues with the locking mechanism of the room. The hotel doesn't even have a sign with its name on it. Would NOT recommend of stay again because, though close to the beaches, we dreaded going back to the room due to the noise (from the normally speaking neighbors). Stay away.
