A very nice hostel with a shared space that includes a kitchen and a dining room with 4 private rooms. There is also a terrace with a few tables outside that we used for breakfast. The room we stayed in was very clean with pastel colors making it very cozy. The bed was comfortable and even though our balcony was facing the street, the area is really quiet. The self-serve check in was really easy and the communication with the host went very smoothly. Great place to consider even if you are doing the Fisherman Trail.

All details for self-check in received in time. Nice clean room with a private bathroom. We also used an opportunity to buy breakfast for an extra fee. Nice short walk from the hostel to the beaches. Also a great place to stay when you hike Rota Vincentina.

While its called a hostel, its more of a house with different rooms rented out individually. It has a self check in system which was easy and well communicated. The bedroom was nice and the kitchen is also good and well stocked. We chose to have the breakfast in the morning which was nice with generous portions.

We didn't feel welcome (unlike in other similar and similarly priced places on the Fishermen's Trail). The common area was nice, but there was a camera standing and watching your every move. no drinks were available (as self-service), as if the owners didn't trust guests. Breakfast was available at extra fee and it was very overpriced for what we got, it all felt very calculated. For 8EUR/pp it would have been nice to get fresh croissants instead of 1 slide of pre-packed cake for example (the cake wasn't the only thing we got of course, but it all felt very limited). During the breakfast service you're not allowed to use the kitchen area, so actually it's not possible to make your own breakfast. This was a real minus for me.

The room was beautiful and the entire place very clean. Good location, nearby to the hiking trail and a few shops/restaurants. Good communication with the host.

The hostess wasn’t there when we arrived. She sent an email the day of our arrival to explain how to access our accommodation but we weren’t connected as we didn’t have a local SIM card: only connecting at night with wifi…so we didn’t receive the instructions and waited more than an hour until another guest helped us get in and onto wifi.

Good location for quick access to and from the Rota Vicentina walk. Great common kitchen area with tables & Chairs to share, as well as access to a large fridge.

No keys in dorm room There were lockers but really didnt do it's function to keep your things safe because you are sharing it with other people. No staff to ask questions to upon arrival.

Noise travels really easily in the hostel. Even when we could tell people were trying to be quiet the doors and floors still made a lot of noise. We could hear the bathroom fan from the room next door in our room.

Breakfast was cash only, which would have been nice to know beforehand as we were traveling with limited cash. Beds were also not very comfortable and noisy.

Great value for the stay! Checking in was an easy process and breakfast the following morning was good. A plus was that breakfast also started at 7:30am, which meant we could start hiking earlier as well. Clean rooms. It is a hostel so the walls are relatively thin, but wasn't a big problem for us. Communal spaces were also clean.

The place is a bit too humid during the night and the shower glass panel didn’t close entirely. We would recommend to add a sign asking to lower the voice in common spaces after a certain hour as the ground floor space has a big eco.

staff was friendly and helpful, the inside of the property is fresh (which is good in hot season) and we liked the small rear space at the back: shady and private.
