There's some oddities with what can be paid for by card (your room, for example) vs what must be paid for by cash (e.g. a bottle of wine)

What a wonderful apartment in a great location with incredibly friendly staff (Hi Isabella!). Nothing was too much of a hassle. The suites itself are well appointed and comfortable and the location is very central. While some small number of other reviewers complained about the proximity of the hotel to the tram line, I found it to be such a beautiful spot to stand on the balcony and watch the famous tram go by. It was definitely not disturbing for me and I had no difficulty sleeping at night.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the location was great and the staff were so nice and helpful! We got sick during our trip and all staff here were wonderful and helped us to be more comfortable. Special thanks to Pamela, Isabella, Isabel, Kaue and Nadia!

Perfect location in the Alfama - right next to the the tram line, a 12 minute walk to the Metro and easily accessible to the city centre. Property itself was well-kept, with nice rooms that had good bathrooms with strong showers, big beds, fridges for use, and basic coffee and tea making supplies. The hosts were SUPER nice and helpful. We ordered the breakfast one day and found it to be plenty of food it - cake, buns, meat and cheese, fruit, croissants, Nespresso coffee, cereal, and eggs. Otherwise the breakfast plate at nearby Copenhagen Coffee is also quite good.

The noise! I was on third floor street side. I had to open window to keep room cool which meant that I had the people and the trams in the room with me…or so it seemed.

Chair. It was old and not suited for a hotel stay. Requested room with bathtub, but request denied.

Unfortunately the beds in both our rooms (apt 3) were so hard and uncomfortable that we didn’t sleep very well.

Loved the location! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Close to food and shopping.

no lift/elevator so had to hand carry heavy luggage up stairs. Suggest bigger outdoor sign to ease locating.

As the apartment was located in a kind of basement level, the view from the apartment was on a small and old backyard, not too much sun or light through our windows, it was a bit humid. A bigger rack in the dressing-room would have been great to hang all of our clothes.

The apartment was big, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very confortable beds, we liked them. The apartment was not on the street side so it was really quiet at night. The tram 28 stop was like 20 seconds away from the door, super cool. You are in the historical part of Lisbon, the neighborhood is beautiful!

Parts of the suite were a bit shabby.... There were holes in the wall and a strange smell in the suite. The bathroom wasn't very clean.

The location is wonderful and highly recommended. Also the building itself is very "authentic" and unique and nice to be in. The suite is large and comfortable.

Can be noisy (tram) at night. Also if you bring heavy suitcase, you have to drag it through cobblestone street for about 30 meters to your room

A bit of noise from the street and other guests but I think that it’s totally normal if you want to stay in the center of any city.

Ideally located in the Alfama, the room was large and the bed was comfortable. The yellow trams were passing just bellow our windows (a bit noisy but so cute as a tourist to see this).

The lobby could’ve been more inviting. It wasn’t a good representation of how beautiful the apartment was.

Actually, we were quite surprised at how lovely our apartment was because when we went into the lobby, we were not too impressed. But our apartment was beautiful, clean and comfortable.

Nothing really. Everything was as described on the details. Hairdryers and ironing facilities were also available at reception. The bed was quite firm but that didn’t bother us .

The location of the apartments was superb as easy walking distance or quick tram ride to many places of interest. We had a garden room which was a lovely quiet place to chill out. We managed breakfast in the garden one morning. Would love to come back in the summer when it would be lovely to enjoy a drink after a days sightseeing ! The cleaners came in every day of our stay which was a bonus. Never short of places nearby to eat. Didn’t have time to sample them all !!!

We could not find any English channels on TV it would be great to have BBC or CNN

The room was a very comfortable and there was lots of space. A small problem with the shower was rectified immediately. The hotel provides a good breakfast but you do need to order it the day before.

There was a lack of drinking glasses - only one wine glass which was cracked however I did not request a replacement and I am certain they would have replaced it if we had.

Everything went well. The staff on the reception desk were really helpful and pleasant. The accommodation was clean and spacious. Fantastic location - could hear the rumble from the tram going past. Would really recommend this accommodation.
