A very handy location, lovely gardens which run right up to the cliff tops for a wonderful sea view. Comfy rooms with everything you need for a holiday.

Bathroom didn’t have an exhaust The Ac is a little flaky. We required to use the remote controller instead of the wall controllers

We eat in the cafeteria and I was so disappointed that I paid €1.50 for one piece of butter and we got 2 and was charged €3.00 for this which we did not use only one and for bread we were also charged €3.00 we were asked if we would like some bread to which we said yes not knowing we were going to be charged for this and when I asked I was told yes yes here in portugal we charged for everything you ask for it you pay for it but we were asked if we wanted it. It was expensive enough food was nice but €6 for bread and butter was a lot. And in your shops everything was so expensive like a little tub of jam was 50c my god and a pot of jam was €5 a bit much. There's was ants in the apartments which were sprayed the view from the room was not great as I was looking right out at a roof top with a solar panel I think on it. Not great it said garden view this was not garden view this was a view of the roof.

How clean and respectful everything was the apartments were clean twice did not expect that on our last 2 night we did have banging by other people on the door and the folling night the were shouting and a lot of noise from a party.

1. The view was not what we expected or showed in the pictures, we requested sea view and the view of the sea was tiny. 2. I asked for a white wine to be in our room for when we arrived because it was our wedding anniversary, they left it on the table instead of the fridge and it was warm... and there was an ice bucket in the freezer, great! But it was empty.... ugh. 3. We were next to a pool and kids played there all day, taking a nap was almost impossible due to the noise. 4. We made 2 separate reservations, one until Sunday with breakfast and one from Sunday to Monday without breakfast because we were leaving very early on Monday. I reminded them of the 2 bookings. They forgot, we were taking a nap and they woke us up to make us leave the room, but then we reminded them we were staying until Monday and they said "sorry". 5. We went out to buy something, came back and couldn't enter the room because they had disabled our keys due to their confusion, we had to go to the reception and ask for new keys. To sum up: very, VERY, poor service.

The whole place is amazing, you have everything you need, even a small market to buy groceries, varied breakfast and great pools.

Mini market in the village area is poor, expensive and grumpy staff (but bigger, better options close buy). Laundry facilities are expensive and no laundry soap unless you buy at aforementioned mini market.

Beautiful gardens, clean accomodation, amazing location, fantastic pools, excellent for children, quiet. Food was excellent at Buganvilla and especially the Cafeteria. Staff were brilliant, again shout out to the Cafeteria staff.

Accommodation cost has more than doubled in last 18 months and seems to have less guests but many competing hotel prices have not risen as much and we may have to look for autumn breaks elsewhere. As virtually annual visitors we were shocked to see so many visitors had been allowed to bring dogs,sometimes seen off leads; there was a lot of dog muck on walkways and car spaces which is disturbing with so many young vulnerable children around. The club entertaining was of a low standard and unnecessary loud. Wi Fi reception in apartments was intermittent. Mosquitoes particularly lurked in corridors and outdoors at club restaurant so multiple stings suffered but less in apartment.

Facilities great, virtually on the beautiful beach, beautiful well kept gardens,adequate on site parking yet walking distance to Albufeira. Most apartments are large with most equipment for self catering, TV great choice of English channels with BBC World service and BBC 1 Sky News etc. Revamped Cafe club restaurant served some very good meals with good choice.

We stayed in the village, our room was very tired and worn with a musty smell. The online pictures didn’t represent the village rooms appropriately. Though the newer hotel and apt hotel seem better represented.

Great location, great facilities, pool area exceptionally clean. Great place to stay with the kids as plenty to do for them. Was activities for little ones during the day.amd entertainment for adults at night. Rooms might need a bit update but very clean and had every thing needed for longer stays. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommended for families

a bit of refurbishing should be considered in the nearest future, brekfasts are good but limited choice, no changes day over day and extrmeely crowded (too small facility to serve so many people); we were travelling with two kids and parties were disturbing our sleep routines - they should end up at 11 pm which is. already late but within 10 days only 2 times it happened so, other times we hade to call reception multiple times and accept loduness till 11:30pm+

nice hotel with multiple pools, including indoor, sporta facilities etc - good for peaceful stay with kids or w/o, very clean and tidy, supportive personel, various activities over the day-long timetable, perfect seaside and beach just nearby and many more within 5015 min drive from hotel

The only downside was, as a last minute booking, knowing we were leaving early, they charged us for breakfast which starts at 0730 but were unable to provide an early breakfast at 0700. It would have been nice to have been given more information on this when checking in, or at least have a bottle of water and a coffee in the reception area.

Brilliant facilities - swimming pools everywhere you turn and the water park is great. All of the staff are so friendly and lots of food options. We loved our stay! Less than 10 mins in a taxi to the old town.
