No tea facilities or prope breakfast.

We had a room overlooking the street with windows to open and a view of the activities. It was clean and peacefully wuiet by 7pm. It was relaxing to explore the walls of the castle and backstreets and rest inbetween outings.

It was a great location to stay in, but you cannot drive in there at all and if you have a good bit of luggage it’s a REAL problem. But then we are two elderly people and have problems carrying luggage very far. And it’s hard to roll them on the old cobblestone streets. But you’re close to everything.

Parking was just outside town, so we had to walk c 15 minutes on cobblestones to the hotel. Hotel was quiet late evening, but noisy all day as we happened to be there during a chocolate festival and music was blaring in all the streets.

Very central hotel in the heart of the old town. Relatively quiet in the evening.

Efficient sleep-over for a one-night stay at lovely Obidos!

The hotel mentions that it has parking, but in reality, you have to park outside of the old town and carry your luggage all the way to the hotel (through the alleys and the strolling masses). The hotel itself is quite run down. Also, the elevator does not function and there are almost no (available) power points in the room.

Once you have reached the hotel, it has a nice location, right in the middle of the old town. The bunk beds for the kids in the family have protection on the side (extra bars).

    Beautiful old world boutique hotel.

The staff at the front desk were not friendly, actually seemed grumpy and inconvenienced by my checking in. I stopped in less than an hour before the check-in time just to see if perhaps my room was already ready. The young man at the front desk had no personality and seemed annoyed that I would ask such a question. So, I went and got a late lunch and went back to check in around 3:30. Now there was an older man (50's) at the front desk and he was even more grumpy than the last guy. The breakfast staff was more friendly as well as the woman who checked me out the next day. The included breakfast is very minimal, so I don't recommend that.

This cozy boutique hotel has a lot of old world charm, though it can be noisy of other guests are being loud or kids crying. I had a room that faced the street, so the noise from the street can be loud as well if there are a lot of people/tourists on the main street through the medieval section. The room had wood floors, a beautiful antique dresser with with mirror and the bathroom had the beautiful blue Portuguese tile, with a deep soaking tub. The hotel is located in the middle of the main street, so easy walking distance to the castle, shops and restaurants.

The stairs were narrow and the individual treads were not marked so I had to be very careful. Slightly odd that I had to specify what time I wanted breakfast.

    Lovely hosts. Charming decor.

The location is superb! Is not every day that we could sleep inside a castle walls! Inside the castle we can do everything by foot. And we have a good numbers of good restaurants and bars over the castle/

Only bad thing was the smell coming from the bathroom... really strong and bad...maybe because it was a very old building.

Great location, staff & room. Really amazing, each room had a separate theme, ours was the maiden room, very very nice. Breakfast was simple but very good.

A bit noisy in the morning when the car or delivery truck passes by or when the loading and unloading work. But it doesn't matter, because we can actually see the people's daily life in the town.

Location. This hotel is located at the centre of the town. Our room is facing the street, I enjoyed the beautiful view of the street from the balcony.

It was quite a long walks with our bags from the car park. The room was quite small. Breakfast was only from 8, and we needed to leave earlier, so did not get to try it. The bed was too firm for me. It was quite tricky getting into the shower around the shower screen - a large person would not have fitted.

Location was good in the centre on town.

The hotel is very hard to find and drive to and google maps is not your friend. We drove to obidos and the access to the old city area is difficult and lots of walking is required or you need to be a very good driver to negociate the extremely narrow streets to get near the hotel.

The rooms are better than expected and the hotel is a quality renovated small hotel in a beautiful tourist orientated site. The village is quaint and has restaurants and many tourist shops. The area is very old and requires a lot of walking to get around.

The drains empited slowly, leaving an offensive smell in the bathroom which tended to pervade the whole apartment.
