Our stay at Abacatus Farmhouse was exceptional! The farmhouse is beautiful and tranquil, in a great location nearby Tavira and Cabanas. The breakfast was unbelievable and set you up for the full day - we never needed lunch! Everything has been thought of, the space was perfect and Fernando and team took very good care of us. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Bed was very firm, and no drawers to put clothes in.

Fabulous fresh breakfast. Lovely swimming pool. Great to be able to use bikes to get into Tavira, and to go shopping at the nearby Aldi. Room cleaned every day.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Breakfast was outstanding, varied and plentiful. Our room had an exceptionally comfortable bed and the room spotless. Also, the receptionist was extremely helpful and unfailingly polite, such an asset to the establishment.

We had a welcome glass of Port, which wound up being our favorite Port from our whole trip. It would be great if they sold bottles on site.

The farm setting was serene and beautiful. The pool was lovely and so refreshing as a time to relax or a chance to refresh after being away for the day. The local town, Tavira, was one of our favorite in The Algarve. The units are like apartments and so lovely to have all the amenities when recovering from jet lag and adjusting to a new environment. The hosts were so gracious and the breakfast was an abundant delight!

Only complaint would be the sun beds round the pool were a bit old and tired

Simple quite rustic farmhouse.Peaceful location, very relaxing. Generous breakfast , Sani looked after us so well. Beautiful beaches close by and authentic little town.

Our stay was very enjoyable, our apartment was spacious and clean .The breakfast was lovely and the pool was very relaxing, tranquil and quiet. Tavira was about 10 minute drive from the property. Overall we would highly recommend Abacatus Farmhouse.

You could hear the neighbours (talking, TV, shower, flush). The room could do with some maintenance (e.g. unblock the drain).

Very friendly hosts, amazing breakfast, very peaceful garden with pool. Room has tea and coffee and reasonably priced wines. The room was spacious with plenty of cupboard space. The kitchen was equipped with everything you might need. Bikes are available. Tevira ans St Luzia are a short drive or bicycle ride away. Especially Tevira has loads of restaurants. Aldi and Lidl supermarkets are also a short drive/cycle/walk.

Amazing hospitality, incredible breakfast each morning, beautiful and peaceful property. We loved the location slightly outside of Tavira, and between the bikes the property provides and our rental car, we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go. Quick 10 minute bike ride or drive to the beach or into downtown Tavira. Everything about our stay was amazing, and we already can’t wait to return!

Bed a little too firm, but staff promptly addressed this. Living area could use a coffee table. Kitchen could use more hand towels.

We loved staying at Abacatus Farmhouse. The pool was great. It was easy to find using google maps, a short drive into Tavira, and to Tavira Island. Our suite had everything we needed, very comfortable. Sani is an excellent host who provided a delicious breakfast and was very helpful with everything we needed.

Fabulous property well located with beautiful accommodation. The pool area has a wonderful relaxing feel about it and with so few guests was never busy. Sani was very attentive and looked after superbly, can’t recommend this place enough.

The location of the hotel is rather uncomfortable, it is quite far from Tavira, we were getting there without a car, but it is not something I will recommend to anyone, because of the distance and the road which is not so picturesque.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious and rich, definitely will miss! The hotel has very limited amount of rooms so it is very calm and peacefully inside. Staying the whole day around can be a rest itself because you have everything you need and a pool! Rooms are very stylish, cozy and have country vibes. The property offers bikes which great! The host was super friendly!

The breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, bread, croissant, coffee, the farmhouse’s own avocado, scrambled eggs, etc. It was served on the table by lovely stuff.
