First impressions matter-the entrance hall is dark and the carpeting leading down to check-in was in need of a very deep cleaning, if not replacement. We forgot to tell management that the antique sofa in our room was broken.

Really liked staying in a B&B in an historic neighborhood. I don’t know the date of the property but I assume it goes back to at least the 1800s. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable, the room had lots of light and the bathroom was well designed with great products.

Our room was a bit small, nowhere to put cases, and the usual problem of no power point near a mirror.

The only thing that I would have liked to have been done differently was that our towels were replaced daily despite the fact we hung them up so they wouldn't be.

The room was lovely and the hotel created a very friendly and relaxed ambience in the in the downstairs area. Tea and cake was available free all day which was a lovely feel.

Only minor but the noise from the other rooms coming and going in both the morning and evening on the top floor was fairly loud. I guess this is to be expected with the older-style building.

Staff were fantastic, great location and the room exceeded our expectations. The breakfast in the morning was lovely and the open, honesty bar for a late-night drink was a lovely touch to a great hotel. Would 100% stay here again.

We loved the living / community area. it was great to be able to sit somewhere and have wifi and complimentary cup of tea snd magazines we enjoyed chatting to the staff. the room was lovely even we booked a small room. the breakfast was amazing. staff were very friendly

Liked everything. It would have been good to have a terrace to sit outside in the sun but the location is close to lots of bars and restaurants.

Lovely communal area downstairs for breakfast and having a drink with friends. The room was comfortable with good furniture. Bathroom and bedroom spacious.

My only (small) gripe is that sound insulation is less than perfect so one can be disturbed by late guests in nearby corridors.

Breakfast included at no extra cost though we hadn't opted for it when booking - it was excellent. The room was beautiful and comfortable with lovely french windows, and the bathroom was well-equipped and the water hot every time. The hotel has a very nice common area for relaxing at any time and for breakfast. Bottles of clean cold water available at all times The staff are very willing and helpful

late-night/early-morning return of noisy guests.

first of all, the breakfast each morning was outstanding. never have we opted to eat at our "hotel" while traveling because we wanted to experience the local foods. casa delivered the local foods and more. the kitchen/common area were artistically appointed and very comfortable with many different seating and dining areas to choose from. eclectic and elegant. clearly someone with an eye designed and furnished the spaces. the rooms were equally as unique. with a great mix of vintage and modern. bathrooms were spacious and immaculate. the casa could be a destination vacation in and of itself. we were pampered and made to feel quite at home by the staff.

It has no lift so you might need to carry your luggage by the stairs

They were extremely helpful and caring arranging for our check in while we were arriving late in the night and the reception was closed. Not only they send us all check in details ahead but they kept tracking on us if we had received everything from them. On the top of that they gave us in upgrade, they offered us welcoming drinks as well as their breakfast which was amazingly good the stuff was very kind and caring
