“Our one night stay at Herdade was excellent, where we also enjoyed an excellent dinner and attentive service. Reception staff were very kindly, helpful and efficient. Our room was in a separate building, a short drive or bicycle ride from the reception/restaurant overlooking a lake with lots of nesting cranes in the trees on the other side of the lake. Beautiful! The space had a separate bedroom, bathroom and living area with a small dining table, sink and crockery as may be needed. Being a rather cold day, the rooms were well heated ahead, along with the provision of a complimentary bottle of the estate's wine, both of which we appreciated. Even a fireplace for your own convenience was available with wood if one preferred. Bedding and towels were all excellent. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.”
