Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Superb boutique hotel in the middle of the Jewish Quarter and within 25 minutes from the old town of Krakow. There are numerous restaurants nearby and the hotel has all day pastries and coffee available.

CanadaMay be that the rooms were a bit on a small size. 2 people with 2 suitcases didn’t have much room. May be some more hooks here and there?? Otherwise everything was perfect.
Beautifully designed with great attention to detail! Extraordinary! And we were 2 retired commercial interior designers.

BelgiumWhile the hotel staff provided blankets to address the initial delay in reaching a comfortable room temperature, it would be beneficial for them to explore quicker temperature control solutions. The bed in our room was narrower than typical hotel beds, which might be an inconvenience for guests accustomed to more spacious sleeping arrangements. Additionally, the breakfast experience was inconsistent, with some dishes on the a la carte menu being smaller than expected, while others were overly generous in portion size. Providing more consistency in portion sizes and perhaps offering a variety of sizes for each dish could enhance the dining experience for guests.
Nestled in the heart of Kazimierz, Krakow, this charming boutique hotel offers a modern and unique experience. Its inconspicuous location between buildings adds to the allure of discovering a hidden gem. The hotel pleasantly surprises from various perspectives, all of which contribute positively to the overall stay. One standout feature is the exceptional shower experience, especially with the invigorating rain shower. The attention to detail in this aspect elevates the overall comfort and adds a luxurious touch to the stay. Additionally, the intimate size of the hotel creates an exclusive and cozy atmosphere, enhancing the overall boutique feel. These distinctive qualities make this small hotel a delightful and memorable choice for those seeking a special stay in Kazimierz, Krakow.

United StatesVery nice, boutique hotel. With only about 12 rooms, the staff is able to be very responsive and personable. Breakfast is a slight departure from the normal buffet spread in that you order from a menu, but they have a really good selection and everything we tried was great. The hotel is located in the Jewish quarter and it’s about a 15-minute walk to the main square.

United StatesNothing to not like, really.
Location of the hotel was great. The room itself was spacious, very quiet (the one facing the backyard), corridors we fitted with carpets so noise was not an issue. Redroom was comfortable as well. Bathroom was ok as well but a tiny hint for the manager, - it would be handy to add a hook or two close to the shower cabin.

GermanyCould hear some noice from other guests in the hallway from inside of the room, but wasn't a big deal.
The hotel is located in a really nice and quite area where you have access to everything you need. There were a lot of restaurants and street food places nearby. The breakfast was really delicious and well prepared freshly. The staff recommended different things to try too, what I really appreciate. The room itself was comforting and the nicely decorated. Overall would stay here again.

Czech RepublicRoom felt a bit claustrophobic- Very small with no space to put towel or clothes etc. After seeing the official website of the hotel I paid double for the smallest room in the hotel. I should have stayed in the deluxe room with the terrace at least for the same price. A bit dissapointing And will double think before Booking through Booking.com.
Clean, great location, breakfast was ok.

GreeceFirst and very important, all the staff were excellent, always polite and very helpful! The location of the hotel is also excellent, as it is located in the most lively neighborhood but in a very quiet street. The room was very clean, spacious and exactly as shown in the pictures! Breakfast was freshly served every morning (a la carte) , being able to choose, as much as you like, from 6-7 dishes (which is perfect if you stay for a few days but after the fourth day it can become a bit boring). All in all, I would totally recommend it and most likely choose it again if I find myself in beautiful Krakow.
