Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsCould use some modernisation on the rooms, but all was working fine. Lots of mosquito's, but that is not a problem of the resort.
Friendly reception. Tidy rooms. Extensive breakfast. Close to the Baltic sea. Endless walks along the shore are lovely. More choice on restaurants in the village nearby. Nice bartender prepares good cocktails.

GermanyRooms have horrible doors made of cardboard. You will be woken up every day and night by staff, kids or neighbours talking or shouting at the corridor. Getting a dry towel to your room was impossible. The floor staff refused to exchange them, despite standing next to a pile of clean ones. And asking in reception did not help anyhow. In the room there is no hanger or even a chair on which you can dry your towels, so you will be using a wet cloth for your whole stay.
Close to a nice, wide beach. At the edge of a touristic village, which makes the beach less crowded. Really nice and clean swimming pool/sauna area. Good breakfast with a variety of food options.

The swimming pool, spa area, food was great! Everything is very clean. There is a beautiful playground for kids outside and inside. Marena has perfect location, close to the sea.

The hotel is located only couple minute walk from a beautiful beach. The personal was super helpful and patient. Breakfast and dinner were top! Wellness area was very comfortable and it was great to have a possibility to switch off after a long day at the pool or in sauna.

Poland1. The absence of a refrigerator is an unimaginable bad point. 2. There must be a smoking area where it will not be exposed to rain. 3. If the two points do not improve, this is a hotel I do not want to visit again.
