Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe only downside really is the walls were somewhat thin and you could easily hear the neighbours.
The staff were very nice and quick to answer any questions. I did not get breakfast but it looked great. Also right next to the station so as soon as I got to the town I could unload my stuff, to add to that check in was very early and you didn't have to wait till 3 pm like most hotels

BelarusBy some reason, there was no chair in the room.
Very clean room with an air conditioner, late night access, free private parking, good internet and available breakfast - all these at a modest price.

United States Minor Outlying IslandsOn the arrival initial shock of the hotel being dark at 18:00, except for the hotel’s sign and some spot lights, as well as closed doors made me feel uneasy. The instructions on the front door with the phone number by the cafe were in Polish only. There were no other instructions. It would be nice to include a sign and the instructions in other languages of the entrance, which is located on the back of the building. The hair dryer had to be requested. There was no thermostat in the room and it was hard to know how warm the room was. Also, one would have to guess how the AC works during the summer. Even though there seems to be an option to have a breakfast, the cafe was closed during the stay (off season). I wish parking lot was paved.
Hotel is located in the city of Pasłęk, which is between Elblag and Morąg. Elblag is great for shopping. American Express is accepted at this property. A short walk from the hotel is a 24/7 ORLEN gas station, which also takes American Express. A huge plus considering not many gas stations accept AMX in Poland. Also, hotel is located not too far from Train Station. Water was hot and water pressure was great! In the off season hotel was quiet. The staff was very responsive and accommodating.

United KingdomIt was right next to a kids play park and you could hear all the children playing and shouting. The air conditioning in our room didn't work so we had all 4 windows open so you can hear lots of noise. The bathroom windows were not blurred so we had to keep a towel draped over them. We also didn't get any shampoo apart from some leftovers in a broken bottle. We didn't like that the staff were smoking on the benches right outside a small entrance door and it was awkward walking in the middle of them all the time. They were also not very friendly and we felt like a burden to them.
I like how clean it was. it offered lots of windows and a tv. the bed was comfy and I liked the wardrobe size and how to was open not closed. It was very modern and the restaurant downstairs was lovely and cosy. the food was very nice, we dined multiple nights.

GermanyWe almost did not manage to check in because there was no one at the hotel when we arrived (within the official check-in times). After repeatedly calling the Polish cell phone number indicated at the main entrance, no one answered. In the end, we only managed to check-in, after we spotted another car in the parking lot on our way out of town about 45 minutes later. It turned out to be another guest with his family. Probably because he called from a Polish number (and spoke Polish) he had gotten through on that very cell phone number that hadn't worked for us. The other guests then explained to us that our keys were accessible in a pin-protected safe and that the manager was on his way. If we had not spotted the other guests, we absolutely would not have managed to check in that night though. All of this was very stressful traveling with two very old and tired parents in their late 70s and early 80s. The hotel is near the main train station, but quite far from the town center. The smoke of the guests puffing their cigarettes in front of the main entrance went straight into my bathroom
Spacious, modern and comfortable rooms. Good internet. Good, strong shower.
