Not much choice of breakfast for vegetarians. Meat eaters should have no problem. Location is 10 minute brisk walk from town square. Once there, a choice of places to eat and drink.

It cost just £50 a night for a good size room with KS bed, inc breakfast. Everything was clean and the staff helpful. The lovely older furnishings are of traditional high quality and far superior to the recent renovations. Free parking available.

The comfort of sleep just isn't there. I complained about most of the things listed below many times during my previous stays and most are really easy to fix, but the owners are clearly detached from reality of what makes a good night's sleep. I was planning to stay for 3 nights, checked out after one as I couldn't bother with this nonsense anymore. I moved to another hotel nearby where none of this was a problem. - The bed sheets are too small for the bed and start peeling off after just 30mins in bed and start rolling up under your body. Very uncomfortable. - Curtains don't block the light - room is fully bright from 6am - Crazy massive pillows to give you guaranteed neck pain - Paper thin walls - you can hear everything your neighbours do

I'm a frequent customer as despite everything below, this is still the most decent hotel in Tarnów. I raised the feedback points below many times over the years. Many of them are painfully easy to resolve but over the years, were not. Most of my complaints are about the comfort of sleep - as a fussy sleeper I just don't ever get a good rest at GAL. - The pillows are massive, uncomfortable and just don't work with a body of an average human being. Please can you read about ergonomy and about what kind of support a human spine needs during sleep. I shouldn't need to be bringing my own pillow to a hotel to be able to sleep comfortably (which I unfortunately do now). Apart from that, the sheets are just too small and roll under my body after a few hours in bed. Solution: Add standard pillows as an option either in the room or to be picked up from the reception and get fitted sheets so they stay in place overnight. - The curtains have insufficient light blocking levels for the location of the hotel opposite of a well-lit train station resulting in the room being way too bright at night and also early in the morning. I really shouldn't be seeing the "TARNOW" sign on the station from my bed through the curtains. - You advertise two single, joined up beds as a single large bed. This is a work of fiction as even when you join up the frames perfectly, there's a 5cm gap between the mattresses which means you can't sleep in the middle - so you still have two small beds, not a single big one. Please stop misleading people with incorrect room descriptions. - The fitness centre with 3 cardio machines and not a single dumbbell? You could make it so much more useful getting a basic set of dumbbells at a negligible investment of a few hundred złoty.

Hotel car park very (too) small, there is a large car park behind the hotel, but it is a pay car park. Restaurant not open, breakfast room very small in the basement.

Centrally located, right by the railway station. Reception staff young end very helpful. Old-fashioned hotel, which suits some guests.

Only thing I could not pass on as I’m a interior designer is that the size of TV was to small for the space.

Love the updated bathrooms, cleanness and quietness of the room. Mattress was super comfortable. Staff super attentive and helpful!
