Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomBedroom was nice and clean, however beds squeaky and loud whenever we moved. Water tap in bathroom scolding hot which could do with tweaking as dangerous. Entrance door to hotel locked after certain time and need to ring door bell to be let in, this is fine however needs to be pressed really hard otherwise doesn’t work (on arrival to hotel we were waiting a while and worried we had wrong hotel !)
The breakfast was exceptionally good - a very tasty selection!! The lady from breakfast is very nice, friendly , helpful and attentive - she will ask if you would like fried or scrambled eggs along with the buffet selection. On our last day she gave us a doughnut which was delicious! Breakfast and staff fantastic. The coffee also very nice from coffee machine. Great location based in Jewish Quarters

PolandWe feel a bit cold despite additional electric heater.
Very nice location in Kazimierz in Szeroka St - opposite Remu synagogue. We have the walking access to main attractions in Kazimierz and Podgórze (MOCAK). The room was nice with reproductions of paintings by Polish artists O. Boznańska, J. Malczewski. The location is very quiet. We really like the old, small building of Dom Casmi.

United KingdomThere was not a lobby area and this was an issue whilst waiting around to go back to the airport. There were also no English channels on the tv.
Very good location, clean and tidy room. The staff were lovely and friendly. They made us a huge packed lunch for one of our day trips where we were unable to attend breakfast one morning.

United KingdomWe had 3 twin rooms between 6 ppl and the two rooms on the third floor were very nice, quite modern, clean and quiet, whereas the room on the second floor was rather poor- entrance was from the staircase so we could hear people walking, partying and talking. It hasn't been refurbished for a while, the decor was very dated with loose skirtings and sockets (!)and the bathroom old and dirty. No hairdryer. The shower cubicle was tiny, we thought it wouldn't be possible to fit a bigger size person. Also the window overlooked the square with restaurants so very noisy with early morning deliveries and metal carts on the cobbles.
Brilliant location, very friendly staff and really good breakfest with lots of choices. Fantastic restaurants all around - Klezmer - top food with lots of history, Hamza for mezze and Sky bar two numbers down

RomaniaI stayed here for 5 nights and felt excellent. My room was a bit budget, only at the hotel did I see that there are much bigger and better equipped rooms than the one I stayed in. Nevertheless, I felt excellent here. Attention, the hotel does not have an elevator, so a disabled or older person could have problems if they get a room on the upper floors. Very good breakfast, the lady who serves the table asks every time if we want eggs or an omelette and she cooks them on the spot. The hotel does not have its own parking lot, but you can park in the public parking lot right in front of the hotel for 60 zlots/day. I felt very well here and if I come back to Krakow, I will stay here again.

We loved our stay at Dom Casimi. The location is amazing - right in the heart of the Jewish quarter, with several fantastic restaurants next door. We looked out on the square that was used for filming ‘the ghetto’ in Schindlers List and the area is steeped in history. Our room was basic but comfortable and it had everything we needed at an extremely reasonable cost. The hotel is charming and the staff were so friendly and helpful. You won’t get a full English breakfast, you’re in Poland, but what you do get is lovely and the lady makes the best eggs! If you’re after a great location at a brilliant price, this place is perfect and we couldn’t recommend it enough.

United KingdomWould’ve liked slightly fluffier towels but the ones provided did their job! Couldn’t find any fault with the place really.
We had a room for 3 adults and it was huge. Comfortable beds, no noise at night from the outside even though we overlooked the square. Location was perfect. Jewish Quarter and old town both within easy walking distance. Bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Great value. Breakfast was included but due to us eating our evening meal late (and huge portions) we were not hungry in the morning so didn’t go down for breakfast, and can’t comment. I would choose to stay here again if I return to Krakow.
