Comfortable, modern apartments in an idyllic location in the countryside, yet close to Krakow. Magda is a warm and welcoming hostess. Breakfast is delicious and offers lots of choice, as well as including fried eggs and sausages freshly made by Magda. We had an excellent stay!

The access road from the village is a bit dicey!

Everything. The accommodation was spacious, the views incredible. The owners were both very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Great location for easy access to the mountains (1hr) and Krakow (30 mins). I think we are likely to return.

Walls are a bit thin between the rooms but was quiet after quiet hours kicked in

Breakfast was excellent and fullfilling, with the host making omelettes, sausages eggs and coffee on demand. Location was good, very near to highway and views were astonishing. Would and will probably go again!

The host was the kindest person you can have. We felt at home from the very beginning. My children had small gifts from her every now and then, and don't want to travel anywhere else anymore. Adults had their pleasures, too. Tasty breakfasts, spacious room (two rooms and a kitchinette, the best you can have for family), a large terrace with awesome views, nice yard for children to play. For the location, is as good as you can get, with Krakow within 1hr drive, mountains all around, beautiful sceneries. We will surely return there.

Superb and outstanding service privided by owners. Black Lion is very cozy place, perfectly equipted with everything you may need in very beautiful landscape. Perfectly clean👍 and comfortable place to stay. The owners are working there and you can really feel it. They have personal interest that your stay will be memorable. We had electric car and possibility to charge it on place (for fair price) was super bonus for us.

Exceptional service. The owner personally prepared our incredible breakfast each day. Great room with kitchenette. Every detail of our stay was incredible. We have been on our European river/driving tour since 03/04/23, 8 countries and this stop was the best to date; Pcim, Poland 🇵🇱.

Not relevant... I liked everything Is that possible? YES YES YES Ok...one thing, the last 400 hundred meters the road becomes tight....we are in the mountains...!!

Everything..!!!!!!! The Hostess Magdalena is SUPER.! BIG SMILE... everything is possible. Speaks top English and some Italian. The Apt was and is so well done. Everything is in the right place. The kitchenette has all necessary items. The Bathroom has a Super Shower Head. Hot water and Hairdryer and tons of towels. Shampoo/Body wash.. Heated floor. Temperature....you are in control. Computerized system. The bed...what can I say..mattress thick and comfy. Area...Quiet. Scenery.... Mountains.

This place is full of harmony thanks to the owner. When we came to Black Lion, our young daughter was absolutely depressed with all changes in our life after starting war. She even did not want to leave the room. But Magda found a key to her heart, and our little girl literally came to life. It was absolutely above all expectations, it was a real magic.

It's a bit tough to reach apartment on foot as it's always uphill walk, however it may be good exercise. Pet-friendly fee could be a bit lower.

The only thing we did not like was the fact we eventually had to leave ;)

A fantastic place - the location is very beautiful and peaceful, the house and the apartments are squeaky clean, super-comfortable and very cosy. The garden and the playground are a fantastic add-on - the kids really enjoyed the swings. And last but not least - the Owner is an absolutely wonderful person, taking care not only of the place but also the people - we haven't had such a peaceful time in quite a while. Thank you!

How is this place so cheap? I don't understand! The building is really new; so everything is fresh, clean and nice. The room was really spacious and had all the facilities I need. The host is super nice with a real drive to make my stay perfect. She brought free tea and cookies and even home make bread because I looked skinny:) I not only had a great stay, I also made a new friend.
