Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

KosovoThere were no chicken or beef sausages or salami for breakfast (only pork).
The reception staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean. The rooms were spacious. It is within walking distance to the shopping centre Gazela, fairly close to Piotrkowska Street, and the tram was close. There was a variety of bread, cakes, salads, eggs, meats, cereals, and juices for breakfast.

GermanyThe free wifi was a bit unstable from our corner room, but this is not a big problem, The wifi was stronger in the second room and in the breakfast restaurant.
The pool was very nice and never too busy (at least during my stay) The room was lovely with a view of the city, which was a bonus. We could watch the sunrise and set. It was also extra large with a separate room with table, chairs, fridge. This was nice since my husband likes to read late and I tend to go to sleep early. Breakfast had a very wide selection, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as eggs, sausages, bacon, cereals etc. The coffee machines made good, strong coffee-:)

LithuaniaThe hotel is actually two hotels that are connected, we stayed on room away from the premium hotel, but it was a long walk around for us to get to the breakfast hall as we could not use the elevators due to it being a different hotel than ours.
The room was spacious, the breakfast had a big selection and they had gluten-free bread on demand. The bed was comfortable and the pool was lovely.

United KingdomWhile the hotel itself is very clean proper and posh there are things I found a bit off, like for breakfast I always had to go to the other side of the building as Centrum Restaurant was closed for refurbishment I guess, there seemed to be a ceiling leak somewhere as there were buckets in one of the large rooms that connects along the way to the Premium restaurant The rooms aren't mega thoroughly cleaned as I found dust on places like the bed backboard and such which usually suggests it hasn't been cleaned on that spot for at least a few weeks (this is a bit nitpicky but my profession just happens to be a cleaner and some people tend to get agitated by it not me though I just notice these things) I mentioned there was little traditional Polish food on the premium restaurant's menu nothing bad just wanted an option especially some form of Pierogi as I found I really loved it when I got the chance to try it on the journey I'm typically a nervous person and I seemed to struggle with the staff as like most of Poland are somewhat cold though there were a few that were very nice and hospitable with how awkward I can be
the location is in a good spot close to the heart of Lodz. there are bus stops and tram stops literally outside the hotel so getting to places like Manufaktura and Lodz Fabryczna station is easy enough if you do not like moving around a lot and staying at the hotel there isn't a lot to do but a short walk away there is a cinema/shopping mall (Lodz Galeria) and my favourite Polish corner shop Zabka (froggy) and a massive street filled with many different shops/pubs down the road I didn't make use of the parking or the facilities like the gym pool and such so I have no opinion the staff seems hit and miss at times as Polish people can be cold at times but I didn't have any bad experiences with them as they were brief though when I checked out the young lady was very nice and pleasant compared to the others I spoke with as with most of Poland - polish is preferred heavily but you can get by with minimal language experience (except using public transport) the hotel accommodates English very well though as every member I spoke to spoke English the breakfast was fine and tasty though it is the same every day and like the evening meals are aimed at English/foreign customers I did use the restaurant out of breakfast hours and the food could be related to "British pub food" (Burgers/Steaks Etc) but it is good quality and very taste for what it is, I would prefer maybe some options to try Polish cuisine but that's me the room i had was clean functional and pleasant to come back to after a day exploring poland in the heat wave, aircon worked fine and while there is noticeable noise I prefer it as I like background noise like a fan blowing or rain to help me sleep the room was also kept stocked every time I left leaving the green service hanger, especially with complimentary water bottles which I avidly used on my journeys and my belongings were sometimes moved to tables but thats fine as I tend to not use the wardrobes and such as I...
