The receptionist made sure we got a room where the water was nice and hot. The doormen were very helpful. Mr.Aries in the restaurant was very helpful. My wife was very happy.

The hotel is showing its age. Apart from the building itself, the towels are old and shabby. Staff were doing repairs in the corridors which resulted in noise and dust. They ran out of supplies of body gel and shampoo. The staff are friendly but don’t cope well under pressure when the hotel is full and service standards suffer. They were not very responsive to calls for help

Initially put in a small twin room after booking an Executive Queen...after discussion was finally put in a larger family room. Although it was a free breakfast, there is room for better food...the chicken and waffles was for a lack of better terms...not desirable.

The wooden flooring and bathroom glass doors require maintenance immediately before these will hurt a guest. Overall, the hotel ambience, staff, the location and the food & beverages are above average.

The wifi signal at 5th floor room 507 was not available. Staff offered to restart the router but it still didnt help because the signal gets lost when you go farther from the door. We were also given connection to the 5th floor wifi but the same issue was happening. Beyond the door and near the bedside the wifi signal was not available. I booked an executive queen room. And all thru our full night stay we were not connected to the network plus cellular signal was very limited further limiting my option to use my data.

I was seriously impressed with the caring empathic professional attitude of Mr.ARIES, a captain in the XYZ restaurant. Every morning he would see me arriving and already place the exact order I wanted for breakfast. An employee with such a caring customer-focussed attitude should be promoted immediately.

Nothing much to dislike, it was convenient and as expected. The views weren't particularly interesting/existent, and there isn't anything on the door step of much interest.

There wasn't anything in particular we were looking to see in the town, as we were just passing through, so it is nice that this hotel has everything within it. The slight exception was a washing service, however they do have a linked provider and can help you with that, however it's not a 24 hour service. Anyway, the rooms were nice, it's the tallest building in the town, however there are many other tall buildings, so no views unless your right at the top I presume (we were 2nd to top). The restaurant is nice, with good food and it's a pleasant environment. My 18 month old son decided to throw up on my lap half way through the meal, so the fact that I am saying the restaurant was a pleasant experience, is quite a compliment. The rooms and moderately sized, but they are comfortable with a decent centralised quiet AC system which was nice to have, having travelled down from the north and gone through some more basic areas. The porters were really helpful also to note. We parked right out the front and almost stepped directly into the lobby area, which was super convenient with babies, however I wonder in busy times if this gets congested with cars? There was a slight misunderstanding as we had requested a vegetarian option for breakfast, and they provided us with 4 small carrots and some bits of broccoli. (Possibly slightly exaggerating here, but it was close to that), so we picked a few more things off the menu, and the breakfast ultimately was really nice, however they then billed us, even though it was included, citing that the initial carrots and broccoli were the free breakfast. However, I have put this in the "things I like" section, as I discussed this with the manager, who was quick to get to the cause of the issue and admit error, as they had provided a vegan option instead, with a team member there not understanding the difference. This cost was therefore wavered.
