We booked a tour through the hostel and unfortunately it wasn’t the tour we booked at all, only went to around 4/10 sites mentioned. Still beautiful but was also 100PHP more per person that expected and felt very disorganised at the start.

Absolutely stunning property. Beautiful garden and house. With the amazing cafe out front. The staff are absolutely lovely. The food is so tasty and the atmosphere calming, happy and relaxed.

Dorm either an oven or norway in Winter. Bathroom Inside the dorm with nearly no door, was noisy for sleeping people.

Loved loved loved my stay at Vedya! Booked 2 nights unaware that their restaurant is fully vegan and almost cried tears of joy :‘) Looking at previous reviews, this place only seems to attract the right crowd! I travelled solo but made friends on my first day and we had beers and a bonfire in the evening, went island hopping, surfing and partying together even after I left to stay at another hostel. Special shoutout to Bea for her hospitality and Jaja for being the best barista there is! Can‘t wait to come back already!

My stay in Siargao would not have been the same without Vedya :) Vedya is a peaceful oasis into the vibrant General Luna. The house is super beautiful, with great areas to chill, a clean and big kitchen, a very lovely and helpful staff. And the restaurant, the best (vegan) and healthiest food I found in my 4 months traveling with such a good vibe and amazing staff too. Will definitely come back here if I come back to this island!

Vedya was home for me. One of the best places I've ever stayed. The staff is amazing and they have a vegan restaurant where you can eat the best food on the island. I went just for 3-4 days and I stayed 10 (my entire trip in Siargao). So happy to share my time and energy in this place. Always surrounded by special people, cute doggies and nice palo santo smell. Can't wait to come back!

The property is beautiful and so lovely to hang out in. One of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed in. The staff and owners are super lovely and you’re treated as a friend the second you arrive. The cafe that the hostel is a part of is so tasty and has a very fun vibe. Highly highly recommend staying here, it was the best time!

Was a nice open space and there was security but there were times that people would come to check out the hostel/ rooms.

Best hostel ever. It's a really nice space, with areas to relax, a kitchen, the best staff ever. Scooter parking, surf board parking, fresh cold water always available. I had bed also has a small shelf and light, always a privacy curtain. The attached cafe is the best on the island I'd say! I couldn't say enough good things about this place.

The bed “capsula” can get claustrofobic, would not recommend if you are really tall

Nothing to complain! To make the stay even better, it would be great to place some yoga mats in the common areas for some after surf stretching :)

- Very cozy place, baskets help to store things and make you feel at home - great atmosphere and chill people - Bea was very sweet and helpful - vegan restaurant attached to the Hostel is one of the best on the island - often there were tasty bananas and pan de coco in the kitchen area

Unfortunately had a power outage that meant we had to move to another guest house for one night, not the greatest but out of their control and they made sure we had somewhere to stay free of charge while it was fixed.

I want to make something very clear. this is not just a place where you go to eat or sleep or just come for a coffee. this is a place where you come to make memories. where friends and smiles are shared. Vedya is a home for everyone who is ready to open up. I made friends for life and stories that I will tell for years to come. everyone who works or volunteers in Vedya is ready to help you with open arms. the rooms are cleaned every day and the food is freshly made at your doorstep. I can only give you two tips: stop looking for other accommodation because you have already found it and secondly, open up to these wonderful people and you will be rewarded with a flood of beautiful memories.
