There wasn't really anything much to watch from the TV.

To our surprise, we were upgraded to a suite. 🤍 The room was huge and clean. The complimentary chocolates and the breakfast were, as always, delicious.

location, at the time we stayed, there was a marathon which led to road closures in the vicinity, thus transpo was hard to find and traffic was horendous

Upon arrival, we approached a male receptionist to ask how we can check-in, he directed us to proceed to the next counter. 5 minutes later another guest came and asked the same male receptionist the same query. The male receptionist personally went out of his way to assist that guest and walked hin all the way to another counter not considering us who are waiting on queue. I then asked him why he did that and all he said was he didn't know that we are on queue. Lousy excuse, how can he not notice the queue in front of him. I think they should re-train some of their front desk staff on proper customer handling.

Lovely location, clean and most of the staff were really accommodating.

We had breakfasts at Cafe Ilang Ilang. The Tocino and longganisa - needs a taste review before these are served. The tocino tasted like boiled pork with sweetened syrup whilst we are expecting caramelised sweet meat fried as traditional filipinos. When we had the first breakfast, we thought that it may have been a mistake by the kitchen. On the second day - we tried it again - it was still not very nice as the day before.

The ambience, The hospitality of the staff - I have been staying here time and time again. My husband also proposed to me here. The vibe is the same loveliness and charm as it had been. The pastries, Food in general from Cafe Ilang Ilang is superb. As well as the pastry you can purchase from the lobby area.

The main lobby is often used for different private celebrations - as a tourist sometimes there is a feeling of not fitting in among those really festively dressed people taking photos/selfies :)

I would not say I didn't like but: 1) guests would enjoy more if parking situation won't be less of a concern especially if the hotel is booked up or holding simultaneous events. It would be good to have ample parking space or slots. 2) while reception staff were friendly, professional, and efficient, they could improve in terms of warmth and engaging small conversation.

The lobby design and Christmas decor inside is elegant and tasteful.

There wasn’t much of a view in our room since it was mostly the roof of the hotel that we saw. The lobby was bustling with people.

It was good that the bathroom had a tub. The bed was also confortable. Breakfast was exceptional because it ensured good hygienic practices since it was the staff who were serving the portions.

Located in a poor, dirty area with heavy traffic aroubd the clock. A hundred years ago or longer this area was obviously great. Today You dont really want to walk the streets. 5 km closer to the airport You fibd a much nicer area.

One staff at the Ilang-ilang totally ignored me! I was asking for coffee. He just looked at me and didnt say anything but a gesture that he heard what I said! He didnt ask me about what kind of coffee or what! And after waiting for 5min 10 min 15 min no one came!🙄 Dont do that to other guests!

The sureounding area is not very nice. Room was worn down. Windows very dirty. Room service forgot to deliver complimentary water and coffee - and charged big time when asked to do so.

A unique old big hotel with a colonial vibe. Fun to encounter. Great massage. Nice food in the bar. Two restaurants.
