The aircon was not cold, it’s beachfront hotel but there’s technically no beach shore in front as there is a cement barricade.

It’s bamboo-themed resort. The staff were friendly and were honest with the rates and the tips for the island. Food at the restaurant was good.

Attention to detail and small touches lacked. They nickel and dimed whenever possible. The water pressure was very low.

The unit we chose 2 bedroom allowed us to spend time together as family with 8 people. The views, ambience and overall comfort met or exceeded expectation. The location was very good and staff was awesome.

The only fault I would say was the bathroom fixtures are getting a bit old such as the Taps. But not a deal breaker.

I've been before to the Amihan Beach Cabanas next door which also is a top location. So comparing both: if you want direct beach access, please note that you have to either walk a few steps outside the resort and a few steps down a concrete wall. It did not disturb me but some people complained about it. At ABC that's nicer. Ants: there were a few (1-2 I saw per day) in the room (suite 1) and it did not bother me. But some complained about it and they are there. Breakfast: it's ok and there are several options but these are very basic. Breakfast at ABC is better. Towels: you get two. Not more. If you ask for more you reluctantly get a couple more. At ABC they provide you with with 4 as standard. Water pressure of the shower: some complained that it is low. They are right: it is low. Acceptable but low. No big mirror. Wardrobe only in the bathroom and not very convenient to open. Pool: there is none. No big deal but the small infinity pool at ABC is great. Especially when you jump out of the sea and just quickly get rid of the salty water. Design of the resort: ABC is so clean and well designed. Coral Blue is ok but not comparable. Water cooker: there is none (at ABC there is). Bar: the bar is very basic. The bar at ABC is great (even though the prices are high). But you can walk to the ABC in two minutes and enjoy your cocktails there even if you are not a resort guest. Bad smell in the bathroom: there was some a couple of days (not every day). But after room cleaning was there, it was always gone. Just ask at the reception to take of it and they will do.

I've been before to the Amihan Beach Cabanas next door which also is a top location. So comparing both: the staff at the Coral Blue is top notch. I loved that they serve the breakfast directly to your balcony table (without any charge) where you could enjoy it in your private atmosphere. The view is fantastic and iconic (same as in the ABC). The suites are big (82sqm in comparison with 32sqm at the ABC). Food from the restaurant is great and fairly priced (50% less than at ABC and no 10% service charge on top). Internet in the room works fine (at the time I was at ABC there was no internet in the rooms). Scooter rental was 350 per day (at ABC they charged 550). Room service and cleaning are good. Safe deposit box: there is one (not so at the ABC). Big TV screen (but didn't use it). The room price is fair: 5.5k per night for the suite (about 8k for the ABC). The location is great: within 5 walking minutes you are in the center of Santa Fe with all its restaurants, bars, stores and shops (same as with ABC next door). In summary: would book both again. Each has its strength. Both are top resorts for relaxation and are highly recommended. Thumbs up for the Coral Blue Oriental!

There were ants everywhere (Well that's common because there's a coconut tree ). We requested a fried rice for 2 times but we received plain rice 😅. Some of the things need a fixing.

First, the staff are really nice, the accommodations were in a native style which was really great. The location was awesome and even though the beach was not very clean it was really nice as well. The food was tasty and the price was quite good 👍

Having to walk through the shower area to get to the sink and toilet is rather odd, as you get wet feet if the shower has been used recently. if you get breakfast included in your booking, they only offer a Filipino breakfast and you have to pay extra to have anything different.

Excellent location right on the beach, but also close enough to the restaurants and bars in town. The room are cleverly designed out of bamboo and the balcony overlooking the sea is an excellent place to chill. Staff always happy to help and serve with a smile.

Even though the design is good, the house is being eaten since it is made out of bamboo. It could thus be better protected. There is no water pressure, so a shower is not really nice. The fan and airco make a lot of noise, which takes a while to get used to.

The staff is super friendly. There are amazing dogs on duty to protect you. They have a local breakfast The view every morning is just amazing The Architecture of the building makes it look like out of a dream. The building design is well thought off.

Safe quiet area, close to town for other restaurants. Walked to kota Beach several days. Rented motorcycle for island tour from hotel. Nice view of beach and water every day.
