Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaIt was quiet when we stayed although I would have liked to have seen some better food options.
We only stayed at Pebble Beach for one night however the pool was a welcome relief after a delayed flight and then ferry to Santander. The room was pleasant and staff friendly.I

PhilippinesThe beachfront side is separated (there is a road in between the main resort and beach side). It’s okay for adults, but not for small kids. My concern is just the safety of the kids.

United KingdomThere really isn't all that much around the resort and the restaurant closes at 8.30 with 8pm last orders. WiFi was a bit sketchy at times in my room.
Second time staying here and I really like this spot. The staff are friendly and the rooms are always clean and spacious. The food in the restaurant is pretty decent and not too expensive although it did look as if prices had crept up a little since I last stayed there. The ferry port to and from dumaguete is just a couple of minutes walk from the resort so perfect as a stop off.

IrelandThe only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. For such a nice resort and price the breakfast is a let down. Very limited options from a tiny menu. Coffee is weirdly served as a cup of boiling water with packet of instant coffee on the side for you to make yourself. We got eggs & rice and it was fine but I've gotten better free breakfasts from very basic hostels. Also no water dispenser on site - only bottled water to buy available. Not deal breakers I would definitely stay here again just a couple of small things to note 😊
This resort is ideal for a stoppover for getting the ferry as it is a 2 min walk to Liloan Port. The grounds are very nice & well kept. The room was spacious, clean & comfortable. The staff were very friendly & helpful. They provided information on ferry times & helped us rent a scooter. There is a games room with pool table, ping pong & karaoke which is a nice addition. Also all day breakfast time frame is amazing - you can eat it at anytime! Pool & private beach looked nice but we didn't use due to weather.

South KoreaMosquitoes are something that are hard to control, but this place definitely had a lot of them already in the room when we arrived. Food selection is limited, and there isn't much around close to the resort. The room had an AC with a window next to it. Not sure how to describe it but think of blinds made of glass, and the blinds are completely closed to create a window .. Because of this, the with the AC running the spaces between the blinds would create noise which made it difficult for my friend to sleep at night.
We only booked this spot so we could be closet to Llioan Santander Port for the Siquijor ferry 5:30 in the morning, but I wish we had spent a little more time here. They have a small little private beach section which is absolutely beautiful. Large room and clean, has an air purifier as well! The staff were all very kind and helpful :)

United States5 hours/$80usd (with traffic) from the airport. There is nothing in the area. No restaurants, bars, etc. very secluded. When you are finished with the whale sharks, not much else to do. Pool was a nice area, but small. The beach was pebbly, and not much there. I was there on a Sunday afternoon and nobody was there. Predominantly locals use it for the weekends. Whale sharks are very close to there.
Staff are very helpful and friendly and the room was quite nice with a terrace. It was only about 15 minutes from the whale sharks.

ChinaBased on the price, I could find anything that’s problematic.
Just a stone’s throw away from the Pebble Beach which is not too suitable for swimming and snorkelling because of the strong currents. However, it’s a nice spot for watching sunset as its west-facing location.
