The location while very good close to all the local restaurants and bars as well as the beach was overshadowed due to the noise from neighbouring bars. But overall for the price paid the hotel was perfect maybe even underpriced the ac was powerful and the rooms were clean

Nice and helpful staff. Location, just 5 min walking to Alona beach (check the tide times). Some restaurants around, laundry facilities, etc. Facilities were ok, big bedroom, comfortable bed, safe, kettle, small fridge, AC, etc Swimming pool with some sunbeds to relax after the island/countryside tour. They gave us two bottles of water everyday, that it was nice, but mising the water refill stations we found in Palawan hotels.

CanadaIt was advertised as beach-front. No. It definitely is not beach-front. The hotel is fronting the street, where you have to travel 5-10 minutes by foot before you can have access to the beach. The stairs were not evenly spaced, so there is a tendency to get off-balanced and possibly stumble.

CanadaSteps to the 2nd floor were very steep and not well spaced, making it very difficult for an older person to navigate. One VERY major issue involved transport the hotel arranged for me to the ferry. Tuktuk driver dropped me off 1/2 way on the highway when he saw police. He was not licensed past a certain spot. Staff MUST know this. I was horrified!!
Location was excellent. Staff was friendly and professional. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had great variety.

VietnamThe shower didn't drain properly and so they bathroom floor was perpetually wet. Otherwise, Alona Beach was not as nice as we had hoped. If you want to spend your days on the beach, I recommend finding a resort in a different area or one with a private beach access.
Decent budget hotel near the beach. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Breakfast options were good!
