I had a great time at Happiness Hostel, the location is super central, everything (restaurants, bars, beach, tours) in walking distance. The room/bathrooms were clean and the common area is nice, a lot of space for hanging out, it‘s easy to meet other people. But what I liked the most is the great staff at Happiness - special thanks to James, Joseph and Jonna for their kindness and helpfulness, they made me feel welcome and it seems as it is important for them to give their guests a great time here.

Everything was good.

This is a first class hostel. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The communal areas are perfect for relaxing and meeting people. The decor is really cool. Lots of bathrooms, all clean. Free coffee and water, and snacks in the morning. A really great place.

Would be nice if there was a separate male and female shower room but wasn't anything that made my stay bad.

The staff here are SO kind and helpful, they really made my stay that extra bit special, thank you. Lots of privacy in the individual hostel beds which is really nice

All great, felt like home

This hostel has it all. Wonderful staff (shout out to Joy and Johna) Great location - in the centre of El Nido, overlooking ocean. Water refill station on both floors. Nice snack breakfast Clean and comfortable rooms with locker provided inside of the bed, doors to have privacy and huge and clean bathrooms. The staff is cleaning constantly floor, bedrooms, bathroom and communal area. Bonus -great and stable WiFi for someone who works online- one of the best in Palawan (if not the best). Fully recommended

What a nice hostel with a chilled vibe in the busy El Nido! Super comfy beds, nice & cozy common area with great views from the balcony. Thank you James & also all the other super frienely staff for making my stay so lovely!

It wasn’t very tidy, there is a no shoe policy but there was still thick layers of sand in our dorm rooms that had just been swept into a corner. My fan in my bed was covered in dust and make me nervous to turn it on.

Staff were super helpful and understanding, the hostel is really nice and the food in the restaurant is good which you get 15% off for staying there

This is by far the best place to stay in El Nido! Clean rooms, perfect location and best of all the staff are super friendly. James, jonah and joy were just absolute legends. Helped out with anything i needed. Only place i'd stay in El nido again!!

The deposit is quite high and I didn't have enough cash on me when I checked in. So they took my driving licence instead. When checking out, both the staff and I forgot about the licence and I ended up having to have it sent by ferry to Coron. I really appreciated the staff arranging this but it was stressful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was clean everywhere and the WiFi worked perfectly. They provided free refills of water, the shower was hot and they provided toiletries. The location was perfect; it's right next to lots of restaurants, shops, ATMs and the port. So it's perfect for tours or partying. It's also really close to the canopy walkway. You can get discounted food for their restaurant.

It’s always clean, literally 5 steps away from the actual beach and the staff…they were amazing people! Joy, Jonah and James: awesome folks! Please continue treating everyone like family and friends. The rooms are great and loved the sliding door to create privacy rather than a curtain. The hostel offers free filtered water which is a plus as well! The beds where comfortable and aircon in the room worked great!

The sliding doors to the beds make the stay super sound proof. Beds were super comfy and there was lots of tucked away space for bags and things. The balcony room was such a nice addition! With the discount, the food wasn’t too expensive and was super yummy.

Location and staff is good. Very easy to find the island hopping tours and they will arrange you everything including van transport and bike rental.

The only issue we had was the lack of toilets and showers. There were 3 of each on our floor, so it meant you could be waiting a little bit if they were all in use.

The beds in this hostel are really private, you get your own security box, light and socket in your pod. They clean the toilets almost constantly, which was really impressive to see. The food in the restaurant below is really good. You also get 25% off breakfast in the downstairs restaurant. They do provide free sweet breads and bananas in the morning next to reception too. There are loads of games in the common area if you need something to pass the time. It's also located near the beach where all the tours launch from.

This was one of the best hostels i’ve stayed at- i found it really easy to meet people with all the activities held, the restaurant downstairs was great and the bunk was comfortable. I found once my door was closed I could hardly hear anything. The crew were always willing to point me in the direction of a good time and James was particularly fantastic and i really owe him for providing such a wonderful experience:)

great location walking distance from everything you need! balcony area was great to people watch. Staff were helpful, and bed were perfect! would stay again:)
