The beach is too rocky for wading; not a place for swimming. The restaurant on the second floor requires climbing such steep steps to enter, it's too risky for older guests and not conducive for spontaneous guest socializing. The waitress hospitality training could use a refresher. There is no lobby, cafe, or bar on the ground level convenient for guests to enjoy socializing. There are no amenities nearby, no convenience store or other cafes or anything within walking distance. Without ones' own transportation, one is dependent on paying drivers for each and every outing. The entire experience, therefore, is one of isolation in a setting so awesomely quiet, beautiful, and grand, it is breathtaking and awe-inspiring, not to be missed, even if for one night. I'd definitely love to return.

Superbly furnished, very spacious, clean and comfortable room, with an amazing close ocean view make for an unforgettably lovely memorable experience. Its tropical landscaping are as perfect as its phenomenal grand architecture. The individual villas and huge rooms are far more special than any hotel room. There's a small barbecue pit area overlooking the ocean, most convenient for guests in the big white house. and perfect if prepared with groceries. The staff, manager, and owner were most gratefully very accommodating, even helping arrange transportation from the ferry to the island and to the resort. (Thank you for all of that, Blue Crystal Beach Resort.) The price is amazingly fair. For a young couple on a romantic getaway, guests especially with their own transportation, and for anyone needing a serene Zen retreat, this must be the island's most ideal resort.

The only thing is the beach side of the property is rocky no sand. Good for snorkeling when the sea is calm. The have snorkeling equipment for rent. The restaurant is on the third floor with no elevator. Not handicap nor senior friendly.

beach area is not really tempting (rocks and lot of trash in the water), wouldn‘t go for a swim here. Bathttub in my room didn‘t fill up with warm water (no pressure). Tip: rent transportation to get out, walking isn‘t really an option ;)

You need to bring your own back-up wifi since it's a tad bit windy and this may mess up your internet/wifi signal. I do freelance, and i bought my PLDT Prepaid Home Wifi as back-up, and it worked great!

This place has the most amazing view right outside your bedroom window! If you prefer a calm and relaxing stay, away from the busy beaches..then this is the place to be! You can snorkel in the morning and enjoy the breeze all day! They have their own restaurant with an array of selection! The price is mid-range.. Between 300-500 pesos..but you'll savor every bit of it! All the dishes I ordered were superb! The staff is very friendly and will accommodate your request right away. There was not 1 favor that I asked that they did not accomodate.. They can even bring your food to your room, or enjoy the al fresco dining anywhere outside! They have a huge and beautiful outdoor landscape that you won't find in any other places here in Puerto Galera. The room is spacious with a traditional wood design and clean! This one is a stunner for sure!

My family stayed for 4 days in Puerto Gallera, the hotel was so beautiful, with an incredible view of the sea. The staff were so friendly and accomodating, they made us feel right at home. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely come back again.

The place is about 15-20 minutes from the port which isn't bad but the way was steep. The transportation everywhere were very expensive compared to other tourist destination and other restos and pubs are not walking distance so you really need to spare extra for transport fare (not the fault of the hotel). Resto is on second floor and not recommended for people with joint or knees difficulties or mobility issues. On the other hand, the view was excellent and the breeze was so relaxing.

Staff were amazing and just helps you in everyway you need. Place is beautiful. Very relaxing for a family. Ambience was just fantastic and Seaview were just enjoyable. Breakfast was nice with American and Filipino options. Pool is perfect size and a plus for young children. All in all, it was a delight to have stayed in this hotel and the view alone and the serenity of the place and the waves of the seawater were just hard to ignore. So I recommend to really come to this place.

The resort is located in a small cove between Puerto Galera and Sabang so a tricycle or walking is needed if you want to go somewhere. If its an issue to you, this resort does not have a sandy beach.

Maybe the best resort in Puerto Galera, The staff is super welcoming, great food is served, rooms are comfortable and situated around a little garden. Excellent value for money.
