Breakfast is not the crash hot at all, I’d definitely spend your money elsewhere. Stayed for a birthday to have good vibes and it was nice, but the crowd was very clicky and was a little hard to make friends. A little bit too overpriced as well for a hostel.

Very clean, showers and bathrooms are so nice and the showers are nice and hot! The double bed pods were cool and nice. The pool table is also a win!

Could be loud at night, but they give you earplugs and sometimes it was nice being apart of the noise as it was so much fun!

Highly rate staying at Kokopelli. We had a private room which was comfortable and clean with lots of room. There was heaps of room to find an area in the hostel to chill and the restaurant food was pretty good. The staff were so friendly and nothing was an issue, they made everyone feel inclusive and the events and themed nights they arranged were great!

Water issues and restrictions in Cusco, so there was no water at certain times of the day, even in toilets, which wasn't great.

A bit too noisy, people kept partying till late on some nights so it was difficult to rest before our tours which all started super early in the morning. Other than that, the hostel is great

Super sociable environment. The host gave us a free welcome drink on the first night Lots of activities each day, from walking tours to club nights to dancing classes. They have a super efficient travel agency on site too who can sort out any connections you need to make during your trip

Some of the reception staff were rude. I arrived just under an hour early, and it was as though I had inconvenienced the reception by being early. He made me wait until check in time; however proceeded to check in other travellers during this time. I was not shown where any of the common spaces were (I still don’t know where the kitchen was or if they had one), or told that I could get unlimited refills of water for 7 sol. The curtain at the end of my bed did not cover the full gap; therefore it was pretty useless. It would still let in light from other room mates. They “upgraded” my room and when I asked if I could have a second padlock to lock my things they wanted to charge me stating I knew that two would be needed. I had to explain to them several times that the bed I booked did not require two padlocks for the locker as it was a single only. I accidentally left brand new $550 headphones behind (completely my fault), but the response from the staff, when they did eventually respond was to “check with lost and found” and to “come collect them if they are there” despite the fact I had checked out that morning and had made them aware that I was now in another country. It took several messages to request evidence that they even had the headphones in their possession.

The bathrooms and public spaces I viewed were clean. The bed was comfortable and the privacy curtain a nice touch.

The hardwood floors are wild, they creak even if you breath near them. So it was quite hard to stay asleep during the night with people moving around in and out the room

It’s a great location, they have loads of great activities that you can involved in and meet people in the hostel. The staff are amazing and make the stay really special - I especially want to thank Ingrid on reception for always being smiley and helpful, the man on the front desk/security/baggage who always have a great welcome and was so friendly, and another woman on reception (who I didn’t catch the name of) and the maintenance man who were so lovely and helped me remove my lock from the locker when I lost my key!

Would have been nice to have facilities to prepare and store own food although their restaurant was nice and fairly priced.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great vibe. Beautiful space with nice rooms. Able to party but also get some peace and quiet and sleep without disturbance.

The showers could have been better, as they were a bit variable, my 10 bed dorm always had people coming in and out at all hours and the beds really should have all privacy curtains.

The location is great, the staff are very friendly and it’s a super place to socialise and meet people.
