Please refrain from talking loudly after 10pm. The walls are thin so the voices from the next room were loud. Also, the common area was too cold so most people didn't stay there....I think.

It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and the shared space was cozy. I was happy that there was a hair dryer in the bathroom!

Saturday was a bit nosy, but to be expected in a hostel and with some earplugs I couldn't hear anything.

The establishment is modern and nearly new. We booked a double room (separate beds) with private bathroom. The room was nice and with just enough space for the two of us for a weekend. The heater from the floor was a luxury ! It was really hot and cozy in the bedroom. The beds and pillows are very conformable as well.

Twin room was very small. 2 people + luggage very tight. Toilet wasn’t clean as it was well used. Small entrance mat would be useful to keep bedroom cleaner

The shower was not clean

Everything was great. The bed was super comfortable, it was a very nice room and everything I needed for the night. A really pleasant option for those wanting a nice stay in a motel or hotel, but at an affordable price. Will always choose this over any hotel. Way more on offer.

Building 3 would benefit from an external entry from the street as access to this building is cumbersome with steps leading down to, then, back up into the building. Bedrooms are accessed via more stairs down, which is a nuisance when carrying luggage, food, etc. There is currently a gate leading out onto the street from this building, and the lock can easily be changed to allow entry as well.

Facilities are nice and clean with good communal spaces. A handy stop, close to town, with a thermal area and park across the road.

Dorms v small

Nice bed set up with privacy curtains etc although dorm rooms VERY small. Good sizeable kitchen with every you need and decent amount of social space. Social activities would be nice, I don’t think there was anything in the 4 nights I was there, but it was easy enough to meet people.

Not really a problem but the floor squeaked loudly just by the bed. I got up a couple of times during the night and worried about disturbing the room next door as you can hear the neighbours . Surprised at having to pay for parking across the road.

Room was not clean. Filthy skirting in the bathroom. Thick layer of dust on top of the fridge. No temperature control . Lousy sound insulation for a new building. Cold kitchen and lounge, bedroom to hot. We don’t like a surcharge on top of quoted price. Also had to pay $15.00 a day for unsecured parking.

Check in was hectic I didn't receive a email on how to get my key card the after hour manager tried saying I hadn't paid when I did stood outside for 1 hr had no data so I had to go to KFC for wifi it was so cold glad when I finally got to go in for hot shower

The night gate lock was broken so it was left unlocked. And it closed with a clang, right outside my window. The night manager ignored my phone call to switch to a quieter room but reception staff were very helpful the next morning. Reception hours are very limited.

It's new and modern, well designed and well set up. The bunks are comfortable and come with a reading light and privacy curtains. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Location is excellent, near to shops and attractions and next to Kuirau geothermal park.

Only a minor thing, but the sound insulation wasn't great. There was quite a bit of noise from slamming doors and the corridor.

Very clean and modern, looked like it had just been refurbished. Nice beds with privacy curtains. Lockers for each guest that you lock with your own padlock. Big kitchen with plenty of places to eat. WiFi worked well.
