We stayed in the marshmallow shaped tent. What a tent! Roomy with an AC unit and a heater. This is more than glamping. We had a separate bathroom and a separate mini kitchen/bar each a few steps away from the tent entrance, and a deck with a fantastic view with a fire pit. Our host Angus was pleasant and attentive. The on property glow worm area was great. Small but you can sit right by them and watch them come out as night falls.

The views are beautiful and you can tell Angus and Rachel put a lot of thought into hosting their guests. The place was as described. It was clean and cozy. The glowworm grotto was very cool. We highly recommend this place.

The bathroom isn't connected to the room - you actually have to go via the porch which is slightly inconvenient if you need to visit the bathroom during the night or inclement weather.

Absolutely amazing location - the view from the room and porch is like a dream and where I shot my favourite picture from the trip. The host is very kind and chatty. The on-site grotto is very cute and worth seeing.

Broken paddle and leaky boat 😅 would probably be better if it wasn’t an option, then the kids wouldn’t be disappointed.

Loved going for a walk on the farm and finding lambs. The kids were super excited about the glow worms and the boat, it was just unfortunate that the paddle was broken so they couldn’t go out on the boat. The accomodation was amazing, great sunrise, amazing views, and very clean and well stocked kitchen. Great hosts, we’ll be back

Angus and Rachel deserve their superhost status. Absolutely beautiful location (amazing views!) with its own glow worm grotto nestled in native bush! Gorgeous cottage and very warm and toasty. Great simple breakfast provided - all we needed. Angus full of information and suggestions for local walks and history of the area. Great proximity to Waitomo Caves. Can't recommend enough!
