Rooms weren't serviced due to covid yet full price was charged. I understand times are hard etc, but half the reason you go on holiday is to not have to worry too much about house work but we had to do a lot of the servicing ourselves which we only got told about in our 2nd day after querying why our room wasn't serviced

That the hot pool was open from lunchtime It would be nice to have a morning soak to warm up. But can understand that the water needs to be changed. The temperature was hard to control in the shower. The no jumping signs on the concrete block by the pool. Gotta be able to do some manus!

Lounge has a 2 seater (worn out) which is not enough to enjoy some family quality time (there is a dining table and chairs). Bed was too bouncy and pillows were too hard.

Very clean room (unit 1), good size. Reasonably equipped kitchen. The thermal pools are a bonus.

The mini Fridge in the room was extremely loud, at midnight I just turned it off as I could not sleep.

Friendly staff, lovely facilities. The room was perfect for our family, lovely and clean. Great Kitchen and Bathroom facilities. The kids really enjoyed the pool and playground.

Fantastic staff, friendly and welcoming. The location is great being walking distance to town. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The unit we had was lovely. Warm and cozy with a heat pump and everything we needed for our stay.

Staff in reception were exceptionally helpful and approachable both when I talked to them prior to booking and when we arrived at the Park. Our grandchildren loved the pools and playground and it was in a great location!

Too bad the swimming pool was not heated; Also, the shower box's drainage was blocked for a couple of times (although staff was very helpful and dealt with it straight away, even ask us to contact them in after-hours on mobile in case it got on trouble over night)

The entire holiday park was beautiful and clean; Staff were friendly and helpful; Location was also great.

Small room size

All the amenities were functioning. The room size was smaller than expected. The room's location was excellent. The naturally heated pool and spa bath were lovely. There were plenty of nice restaurants and supermarkets within convenient driving distance. A geothermal park was right next door. Parking was available and convenient. The staff members were attentive and helpful and gave us some great tips for sightseeing and shopping.

We were kept awake by the road noise. The entire cabin shook when a truck went past and it didn’t stop all night.

We recently stayed at Rotorua Tasman holiday parks over the school break and came away hugely disappointed with the experience. It was massively overpriced for what you get. The holiday park is nice over all.. but the motel studios have fallen behind and as one employee put it ‘in big need of an upgrade, and long term maintenance needed’ When we arrived I noticed some of the towels folded up for us in the bathroom were dirty. The kitchen was not clean, and I had to rewash all crockery before use as there were food stains on them. We also had a issue with ants in the kitchen. The Motel studio unit we stayed in is literally next to the main highway and extremely noisy - big trucks roll through 24/7 but especially in the middle of the night and physically shake the room. It felt like little earthquakes, which would’ve been unnerving if we weren’t from Wellington. In addition there were boy racer engines revving past in the wee hours.. very noisy. Not great vibes for a family room stay for a week 🫤 The heat pump didn’t work so it was cold at night. The shower door didn’t fully shut and water leaked onto floor. The shower water pressure was also poor and just dribbled out. We instead ended up walking over to use the main camp shower area for daily showers as that had massively better water temp and pressure. When we raised concerns with staff the response was a polite ‘thank you for your feedback, it’s been noted’. The manager offered her apologies and a little gift box of travel mugs and chocs which was much appreciated.. but ultimately the key issues we had were out of her control.. the standard of the room was extremely below par. It was a very average place to stay.. definitely not worth the big price tag 🫠

Our twin bed cabin was too close to the road so there was lots of noise which even ear plugs didn’t help. When trucks rolled past in the middle of the night it shook the cabin and made it crack/loud Lockwood movement noises. Shower had a bit of silver foil in it from a previous guest and the lino felt sticky.

Great location. Good kids facilities. 2 out of the 3 staff we dealt with were lovely.
