Cold basement and a bit tired. Kids preferred to stay upstairs! Tired property but nothing fundamentally broken, it all functioned and did what we needed.

Good location. Well suited to most Rotorua attractions but bit of a walk to shops so best suited for car trips Comfy beds Heat pump upstairs worked well Big tick - accepts pets :-)

Rooms downstairs were stuffy and one bathroom made it difficult for a big group that this property expects to accommodate.

Some of the appliances are in need of updating to be honest. We had troubles with both washing machine and dryer and the dishwasher only just worked too. Kitchen is lacking a bit of cooking equipment too. The only reason we booked a house was to have these amenities.

Great layout, fit all 13 of us comfortably with lots of room. Would book again if we have a big group meet up

The downstairs was very cold, we couldn't get the heat pump working in the big room, it blasted cold air, so was a bit like a fridge, I think the bottom rooms both need heating sorted, otherwise all super comfy beds

This is the 2nd time we have been here, It's location is great and easy to find, with a lovely view, Beds are very comfy and hosts easy to deal with. House always clean and with great basic facilites

oven was a little slow to heat but stove top was great. banister and couple of doors need a clean- bit dusty. Would have been good to have a couple of extra blankets in the cupboard (there was only 1)

great location, lots of rooms and beds. great views of the city. lots of space for everyone. The beds were very comfortable and it was great there were 2 heat pumps and also heaters in the bedrooms.

The house smelt extremely bad like cat piss or a bad type of chemical. We had to go out and buy some spray and smelly stuff because the smell was so bad we couldn’t stay inside. Looked like the carpets had just been cleaned and carpet was still damp getting wet socks as you walked around the house.

It was not the cleanest. I think main areas were tidy but it looked like it needed bit of a deep clean.

Nice location with a view over Rotorua! Loads of space if it was for a big group/family.

No security light on staircase concrete so dangerous fenced off fully so kids can run or pet etc neighbours dog lives basically at the address 😐

Location average neighbour hood property decent size plenty of room not fully fenced so lil ones can get out shared drive way bit of traffic no security light lighting concrete stairs friend fell from top staircase concrete so not great could be modinized little out dated. Bathroom toilet could do with blinds as neighbours place looks strate across

The bed were not very comfortable & the house only has one bathroom. At least the toilet was separate. This house sleeps up to 12. The kitchen is well equipped with crockery & cutlery but there is no supply of foil, baking paper or cling wrap.

Although this property is a little out of town, it’s location was good.

The house was really nice. All rooms have heaters and 2 heat pumps in the house they all worked great. It had everything we needed eg washing machine & dryer, pots, pans, shampoo & conditioner ect ect. Yes there were a couple of cockroaches and big spiders but that is to be expected when the house is up on a mountain. We had a group of 11 people and there was plenty room for us all! would highly recommend this property! No complaints at all! 27/11/2022

the lack of cleanliness and the kitchen was not set up for cooking

The house was freezing cold when we arrived so it would have been helpful if the host turned on the heat before we got there. The kitchen has no spices and condiments so it was difficult to cook a meal. there were no paper towels or other kitchen towels to clean up with. The fan in the bathroom was covered in dirt. not worth the money.

This house was filthy! There was mould on the walls, ceilings and on the windows. The house reeked of mould and was very damp. The were hair is some of the beds, slimy mould on the shower walls, old toiletries in the bathroom. The kitchen walls and windows were dirty and the oven racks dirty. There were holes in the walls and one of the windows didn't close. This property is in serious need of repairs, maintenance and a decent clean. This property is terrible and we would never have stayed however we were in Rotorua for a funeral and at short notice could find nowhere else for our large group to stay together.

cockroaches, very cold downstairs and musty smell, lounge suite uncomfortable, kitchen was cleanish however utensils didn’t seem very clean and we didn’t feel comfortable cooking there. poor lighting, light bulbs not all working.

Cleaning wasn't really up to standards. Toilet walls had old blood stains on one side of the wall. We ended up cleaning it off ourself. There was also old fat on the blinds in the kitchen. And on top of the fan in the kitchen. And also the rubbish bin hadn't been cleaned. overall I would rate our stay a 5 out of 10 if the cleaning was done properly it would be a 8 out of 10.

We liked that it was a big house and everyone had there own rooms.
