The view from the room was awesome, snow on mountains and lake were stunning. The meals in the restaurant were beautiful. Staff were great. Would definitely stay again.

The building creeks badly. I was able to hear when my room neighbours were walking about because of their floor being walked on on causing an horrendous noise.

The room has a beautiful view of the lake outside of the window, and is quite big. The best was comfortable enough, and plenty of places to charge your devices.

Had water come into the room at entrance when weather got bad, not sure how. Made carpet smell a bit. Was quite expensive for the standard of room, dated, needs a facelift.

Great view from window, clean and bed downstairs was comfy. Nice staff in restaurant and good location to Lake Hawea and surrounds.

Could hear some noise between walls of adjoining rooms. Configuration of beds in room was not what we had booked (we booked 2 queen beds) and we had to wait while it was changed. Appreciate, the staff accommodating our request to put the 2 single beds together to make a double.

The location and views were lovely! 5min walk to the beach & the restaurant/bar is only 10 steps away. Our kids loved having their own space upstairs & free wifi.

Lacking in plates, cups and utensils. The room was comfortable and a bit out dated in style.

The view from our room was stunning, bed and furniture were comfortable. The restaurant and bar attached was good food, both restaurant and room was fairly priced. Warm and clean, 20 min drive from Lake Wānaka which was ideal for us.

The bed in one of the rooms was uncomfortable, but otherwise no problem.

The location was superb. Spectacular views from balcony. The rooms were well appointed and spotless. We ate in the restaurant where meals were exceptional.

You can hear your neighborly guests using their stairs, but that didn't take away from our amazing experience.

Had lovely lake front views, you can park right outside your front door, and the restaurant and bar is only a few steps away. Such a tucked away little place!

service. we were there for dinner @ 18;40 but food was served around 20;15. We were not in a rush that day, but waiting for more than 90 mins is quite an experience. Workers are very friendly though.

Night time the heater was not strong enough

This hotel is definitely underestimated. It’s large, quiet location, good facilities and also good dining room. Especially the price is unbelievable affordable. If I visit Wānaka this is the first place I will think first. And of course I visit here most of the time I choose to stay here. Many years I got the best aioli here as I am a chef , I can believe that was handmade it’s definitely amazing! And you can trust their restaurant. It’s fantastic! Good location while you dining you can check the view. When your stomach enjoy the food the same time your eyes enjoys the view lol Needless to say their staff is super friendly. It’s maybe not a luxury /modern hotel but it’s definitely a clean, out of standard and a comfortable place!
