It’s a bit of a hike to walk to town. Bathrooms a little dated and leaky.

We were asked in advance how we’d like the bed configuration for our kids - it was so great to get separate beds for them!

Breakfast was the same for all 6 days and that does get a bit boring. Rooms had no views but this I probably knew earlier. The room heaters were not upto the mark and it would never warm the room down. The bathrooms had no heaters and on tiles, that was not a great experience. Could have had heat lamps at least.

The best aspect of the place is its staff. You will experience great hospitality. The location is not bad considering it is about 1.4 kms from the city center. The breakfast is good if you stay for a few days.

We did have a leak in our shower but nothing too drastic. We were a little disappointed that room service ends from 9:30pm, but there were a few places to choose from via Uber eats.

Large room with nice furniture and amenities. Really liked the feel of the room. The restaurant / bar area was nice though we only had one drink. Appreciated the $10 credit at the bar if you chose not to have your room serviced. Getting into town is easy, just $11 each way via Uber.

We did not like the fact that when we phoned to book direct and told that reservations would get back to us, nobody returned our call. The staff also took no action about our inability to turn on our TV for the first couple of days even though we reported it along with the leaking shower. The shower flooded the bathroom floor and could be a slip hazard !

The location was exceptionally good, we enjoyed the ability to walk into town.

They charge $15 parking, hidden cost to me, thus add that to the price.

great room size for me and 3 kids, pool and spa were excellent and well used by kids (and myself). Charge for parking which is ok but a bit odd as its a self park and not like its in the middle of town where its a premuim. Nice stroll to town and back

Breakfast buffet was disappointing. Minimally should have options such as grilled tomatoes and salad. Fruits were cut and pre-mixed together, ideally should be presented separately. Barista coffee is additional charge.

Spacious room, bath tub, good shower and comfortable bed. Staff at reception were warm friendly, especially Syairah, who was so professional that I was surprised she was an intern.

Slightly pricy and no breakfast included in our room rate. Even with paying £45 extra on top of the room rate I paid for the first 2 nights to stay an extra night

Very little - paying for parking was the only very minor thing.

We had a room on the second floor - spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good - plenty of choice. A special mention to Maca who sorted out a lost camera for us which we had left behind. We're very grateful for that.

We faced issues with poor ventilation and weak Wi-Fi. The Forest Wing had a lingering kitchen smell, especially around dinner time. Also, the Wi-Fi strength was inadequate, making data-heavy applications like YouTube unusable.

We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's fantastic location on Fernhill, which was exactly as we'd hoped. It offered easy access to a variety of walking and hiking trails perfect for outdoor enthusiasts like us.
