Space limited if you have 4 big luggage, 2 cabin bags and a few hand carrier. Apartment small but sufficient for one night stay. Toilet was dark and the blown lights make it worst. Unfortunately electrician can only visit the next day. Slippers or sandals will come in handy as the room is half carpeted and half tiles. Not convenient to go shower in your sneakers or boots and the tiles most likely will have dirt the moment you enter the apartment.

Great view of the vineyard and hot tub all ready for our use when we checked in. Room is clean and short drive to various winery and grocery. Host is responsive and friendly. They even send a lovely representative to receive us upon check in…who in the end stole our hearts.

Owners were welcoming and helpful. Place was warm and cosy Nice underfloor heating in bathroom. Beds super comfy. Spa was ready to use.

It would have been nice to meet the host. Some expected items not there like tea towel, cloth in kitchen, hand towel in bathroom. No dishwasher tablets so couldn't do the dishes. Small things, but important.

Spa could have done with a clean. Ran out of loo paper and dishwashing liquid which was tricky when the location of the property is 20 minutes from the nearest shop.

Beautiful vineyard location, private and peaceful. Spa was a bonus. Bed linen was lovely and the beds so comfortable. Air conditioning was amazing as it was over 30 degrees for our stay.

This place is exactly as it is described, a cozy cottage in the middle of a beautiful vineyard. Perfect location for visiting the famous Waipara wineries. We (as were many others) were greeted by the resident Retriever Beau, which is always a big plus in my books! 🙂 The room was warm, clean and spacious, well-equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. Hannah's lovely girls brought us a breakfast basket and with the late checkout time of 11am, we were able to relax and enjoy it. Spa was amazing and the bathroom had heated floors and hot hot showers. I would highly recommend this place and we look forward to our next stay.

Nothing really to say here as the property was lovely. Only one thing possibly to note was the extractor fan for the kitchen. The outer fan clattered in the high winds that we had on Saturday /Sunday. Not a complaint just a note.

A charming little cottage with everything you could need for a pleasant and relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This is ideal for a couple, or couple plus young child. If you want to unwind, relax in the spa, take an easy bike ride, read, and connect with your partner, then this is perfect. If you want night life, bustling Cafés, shopping and swarms of people, keep driving. There is a spa pool, outside the door, bikes to ride, fresh baked bread, a kitchenette, large shower and friendly hosts. The cottage is located just 2 minutes drive from Waipara Springs Winery. You can bike along to the winery and restaurant, enjoy lunch and wine tasting, then bike back with a bottle to share in the spa as the sun goes down. 😊 🍷
