Nothing everything was great.

Absolutely everything was fabulous. The decor, the space & facilities were all great. Little touches made it special and you felt very much welcomed to the property and we were well looked after. The instructions were super clear and parking was straightforward. Alhena and Carl were perfect hosts, super responsive, warm and friendly. Very professional while remaining personal and informal. Highly recommend, a beautiful apartment with a great view.

Stairs to the front door but you can't have a view without elevation.

Generously furnished in an elegant bygone style. Views of the harbour, the park and the snow covered mountains were amazing. Enjoyed close proximity to eateries and the central shopping. Perfect location to see Timaru and surrounds.

So many thoughtful details, relating the property back to its art deco history. At the same time modern conveniences made the place very comfortable. Great views, and walking distance to everything. Double glazing meant nearby roads were not heard.

The steep stairs, which we managed as two OAPs -75, 78! But had to be very careful. Bags were an issue but we managed. Will have less stuff next time.

My only suggestion would be a door mat for wet shoes.

The Art Deco Beauty on The Bay Apartment totally exceeded our expectations. Alhena has exceptional attention to detail, she has thought of everything you may need while staying away from home. Everything from the furniture to the kitchenware to the bedding and towels is of high-quality. Checking in and communication was easy, the view was beautiful, and we plan to stay here again in a heartbeat. I miss it already.

This apartment has the wow factor in number of ways - secure parking, central location, beautifully furnished and decorated, superb view, warm, spacious, comfortable with everything you need. We were blown away, definitely one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. The hosts were lovely and friendly - we would love to come back and stay longer next time! Many thanks.

All the interior was beautifully decorated to suit the art deco theme and a personalised card and some chocolate made for a sweet welcome. The view is perfect for a cup of coffee in the sunny window in the morning. Easy access to eateries, and the Bay made it a great location.

I arrived late and tired, I found it hard to find the property initially, Had to ask a local for help. Locals were very friendly.

The location was fantastic, close to facilities and walking. Amazing views, and property was spotless. Bed was super comfortable.

My mum stayed here to babysit my kids while we had a family function in town. It is such a good central location. So handy. Everything was so comfy, the kitchen was amazing. The heat pumps/air con worked so well. The shower had amazing pressure and beautiful body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Even the cups and glasses were so cool! My kids loved eating the cookie time cookies and having a sneaky hot choccie. They also loved being able to watch a movie all snuggled up in bed!! It was quite a highlight for them. We were given a late checkout, which was so very appreciated. We will definitely book this again. Can't wait. 🌼

It was on the second floor and access was via a set of stairs. Please do not let this put you off as the host is very willing to assist you if you need help.

Beautifully appointed apartment everything we could have needed was there. Extremely clean and comfortable furniture and beds. Gorgeous art deco details and nice and warm. Beautiful view and wonderful hosts. Perfect location to get to children's park at caroline bay.Would definately stay again.
