Room/Bathroom window frames need improved seals to avoid lizard, flies getting through. Restaurant tables need improvement (salt/pepper re fill, cutlery).

Excellent communication and warm welcome and see off. The cleanliness of room and facilities provided. It's a well maintained hotel in budget.

We asked if we could pay with creditcard, and the owner said yes, but when we wanted to pay it was only possible with visa, not mastercard, although he has a sign on the door with Mastercard, and never mentioned only visa

Owner is really nice. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel is within walking distance from the center of town, but in a quiet area. Breakfast was good, and provided us with a good guide van chitwan NP

Feel like at home. Value for money. New hotel. The room is super clean and big. Bed is comfortable. I can enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the balcony. Include delicious breakfast. I have lunch and dinner here with reasonable price and taste good. The owner, Aasish is very kind and helpful. He picked me up and sent me to the bus station. Help to buy the bus ticket. Arrange jungle walk tour with 2 guides, Simba and Tilak. They are so knowledgeable and take care of me all the time during the safari. I am happy to stay in Hotel Happy Land. Hope to come back again.

We couldn't even dream of a better place to stay in Chitwan! We decided to go there without pre-booking any tour and it was the best decision. The hotel owner Assis helped us with everything from booking of the bus tickets thru pick-up from and to the bus station. He is very knowledgeable about the area and can help you set-up (and book) your program in a way that you can make the most of your time in Chitwan! He and his crew welcome you every time with a huge smile and the whole place feels like home! It's a nicely small hotel out of the main tourist crowd but still close (10min walk) from everything you may need (many advantages - it's more calm! maybe you can spot a rhino right from your terasse, and most importantly you will feel like a family member even with other guest). And the FOOD is DELICIOUS! Main pros to the chef Abi who was always incredibly kind and open to any tweaks that we needed (like low gluten etc...). Huge thanks to Hotel Happy land and we'll happily come back 💚

For the price I can’t fault it. On arrival the property felt like it was out in the countryside a little but in fact, it’s just a 10min walk to the ‘Main Street’ & around 15-20min walk to the Beach area. Nice and quiet to sleep but a short walk to the nearby attractions so a positive in my opinion. (There are also bike available for use).

From start to finish the staff couldn’t do enough to help ~ friendly yet professional. Aasish is very knowledgeable about the area and the national park & is also a very good nature guide. The hotel is quite new & therefore the rooms and hotel are modern & clean. The AC is definitely a welcome addition in this heat. Overall, I cannot fault my stay & would definitely recommend.

    - more love to the details is needed (photos at the wall, some decoration, the dinner hall also, the food) - food could be a little bit better/ more variety for breakfast - wifi didn’t really work upstairs in the room ;) - a little walk to the city center with the restaurants

    - good fair price with air con and easy breakfast (two slices of toast, butter+jam, mini juice, tea or coffee, egg, a few potatoes or tomatoes) - room is really big, everything is new and clean + two water bottles - the owner picked and dropped us off at the bus station - he made an evening walk for free with us to see wild animals and the sunset (he worked as a guide for 11 years) - he helped us booking jungle tours, tuktuks and bus tickets - really important for us: he also doesn’t like the elephant rides :) - he and his staff are really nice and want to make your stay the best they can

    Solo adventure of a lifetime!

    Everything was great!

I was picked up by the owner, Aasish, on a motorcycle! Don’t worry he can arrange a taxi. I thought it was a great way to start my adventure. The property is on the town outskirts. The town is laid out with one long street about 3/4 of a mile stretch. The Southern half is along the river. Two primary roads intersect it. One being the road from Hotel Happy Land. It is about a 15 minute walk. There is only very light traffic and it is mostly quiet since you are facing away from the road. I started with the American style breakfast that was provided each morning. Aaish is a former guide. This was extremely helpful. Depending on the number of guests is based on how much time he can try to share in the local experiences. This maybe not for you but here is what Inwas able to do. First evening walk to the elephant training area. Saw two Rhinos on the property! Great start Next day taking a TukTuk (3 wheel taxi) to a canoe ride followed by a jungle walk and a visit to the elephant breeding area. Second half of the day a Jeep safari. Saw wild boar, peacocks, alligator sanctuary, monkeys, rhinos, their famous wild elephant, and the most spectacular bear encounter that I will never forget. Next day I did a 4 hour hike along the other intersecting road that leads back to the elephant sanctuary. Flowing day rented a bike for a full day and headed North and experienced the local life along the roadsides. The following day went back out for another 4 hour road hike the opposite direction. I had booked 3 nights and was supposed to go to another place but felt the personal service was outstanding. So, I stayed another 3 nights. This afternoon I am jumping back on the motorcycle and heading about 15km to the lakes for some more hiking. Whether you are active to walk or not I am sure that Aaish can make your stay here warm and enjoyable. Namaste

The Hotel is close to the park so you can see wild animals sometimes (although there is absolutely no risk). The manager of the hotel is particularly nice and has a very good knowledge of the park (he was a guide in the park for a long time). He will help you book your tour and even provide free driving service to the different activities. He is always nice and his team as well. It is really a super place to visit the national park.
