No real A/C in the rooftop studio however room is well ventilated so if you get any kind of breeze you can keep the room comfortable.

From the point of booking our host stayed in contact with us via message giving advice on how to navigate to the property and local knowledge on things to do places to go etc, we stayed in the rooftop studio which was excellent far cleaner and better kept than other places we have stayed across Nepal. The Studio also had a well kitted out kitchen and spacious restroom. The Rooftop was spacious effectively creating a large balcony area perfect for a glass of wine with an evening meal after a day exploring.

Nothing it was all good

The appartment is perfect, it’s very peaceful and quiet even though it’s in the city in a great location and very easy to walk to Durbar square and Thamel etc. the rooftop is amazing and we spent evenings out there taking in the views. The apartment is very comfortable and homely with everything you need, we enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen instead of eating out the whole time. Sudarshan and his son were brilliant hosts, they met us from the taxi and showed us around the place, they were really responsive to our queries and then arranged a taxi to the airport for us too

The dust was coming even from the window but it's a Kathmandu problem not the property's.

The host is super hospitable and helpful. He was always reachable by a message, and met me at 5 am for check-in. He helped me with some papers and a few questions. I also got two cleanings during my 11 days stay (and probably I could ask for more). The place itself is nice and has everything you need from a bathroom with washing machine to a fully equipped kitchen. The wifi is great, never had an issue with it and it was never affected by the power shortage during my stay.

Lots of stairs, this is typical for Nepal, so not much to do about it, we got used to it and considered it good exercise.

Wonderful spacious quiet apartment on the rooftop a short walk to Thamel. The hosts were extremely friendly and very helpful and spoke good English. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and waited for 2 hours for us as our journey was delayed. Comfortable bed and a great kitchen for preparing simple meals. Enjoyed watching all the birds from the rooftop.

It was a little fiddly to get the instant water heater to turn on sometimes - simply a matter of turning the hot tap off and on a few times. Other than that everything was great.

We really liked the spacious rooftop area with washing line. The property had everything we needed including well set up cooking facilities. The owner went out of his way to make sure all our needs were met, was very responsive and helped us with whatever we needed, which we very much appreciated!

Next to one of the rooms sits a business that runs some kind of machine that sounds like a medium pitched vacuum cleaner. Random stretches throughout the day, sometimes in the morning. Is what it is in the busy old heart of the city.

The kind of place that feels like home without looking like Ikea, plenty of light throughout the day and on the rooftop a nice place to sit in the sun. Private entry with no lobby or owner living in the same building. Internet fast enough going at 3-4Mb combined with the working desk a good place to get online work done. Cozy bed to keep warm during the colder nights, heaters also provided. Host is kind, generous and helpful.

Owner has tried his best to keep the apartment welcoming to guests. I cannot think of a singular thing I didn't like.

The owner of the apartment is a very humble and kind gentleman. So is his wife. The apartment was kept clean and is very spacious with bedrooms and hall and kitchen. They had given all things necesary to cook and serve as well. Complete feeling of being at home.

This is an amazing apartment with ample space for 4 people. The apartment has an amazing couch with comfortable bedding, a huge kitchen with breakfast table. The apartment is quite airy with lots of windows and small balconies. Pictures do not do justice to the apartment which is well equipped. A special word of thanks for the host - Mr Sudarshan Joshi, he is an amazing person, who is highly accommodating and he goes out of his way to take care of the little details without even asking. He made everything available in the apartment including scissors, toilet paper, towels, water, refrigerator, microwave, basically whatever you would need in a home. This truly felt like a home far away from home. I am grateful to have found this property and met Sudarshan ji who is truly an exceptional human being.

This appartment is really great It's clean and has everything you need and even more! All rooms have small balconies which is nice. The apparent is light as it has lots of windows around! It has hot shower. Location is very close both to Durbar square and Thamel street with lots of restaurants. The host, Sudarshan, is one of the most welcoming and hospitable people I know. Recommended from all of my heart.

There is no lift landing. So you need to arrange porter if you have heavy cargo.

Is really clean and comfortable. Only the rain dampens the stay. Otherwise it would have been fabulous.

I really enjoyed my stay here! I loved both the 2BHK (it’s reality spacious and has good lighting, tastefully furnished) and the small studio (the huge rooftop balcony outside is the best). They are very clean and well equipped. The location is very close to Durbar Square and everything, at the same time it’s on a quiet street. On top of the apartment itself, the landlord is super nice. Sudarshan and his wife were willing to help me with everything! They even took me to local shops and invited me for street food. I will definitely stay here again and again whenever I come back to Kathmandu.
