First impressions of apartment building was not good. Entry down an alleyway at back of a bar. Open the apartment block door to a damp dank odour. Tea and coffee would be a welcome addition.

Very cosy apartment once you get past the entry. Self contained so easy to self cater. The bed was like a cloud. Clean and well decorated. We were comfortable in the apartment.

Please be aware that the apartment is three floors up (68 spiral steps) with no lift. It isn't easy with luggage and an 82-year-old father. Whilst the apartment is beautifully decorated the curtains in the main bedroom are falling off and don't close properly - which is a bit unexpected. The kitchen is well equipped but there's nothing there at all food-wise - not even salt and pepper. There's no tin opener or bottle opener - so plan ahead if you are going to be cooking there.

This is a brilliant and quirky apartment with rooftop views across the city. It was clean, warm and beautifully decorated. We were so happy when we saw it and knew we had made a good choice. It's well located for everything you would like to do in Bergen.

Struggled on the stairs with the luggage. Missing toilet paper holder and the shower was a bit tight.

Good instructions with the photo. The host was very helpful with information to get to the property and responsive with fixing a beeping alarm which we appreciate.

TV remote didn’t work properly, no access to live TV, and it was set to Spanish language (we don’t speak Spanish). No toiletries. Instructions to find first part of access to apartment building was very clear, but then hard to find which stairs to use, and which apartment was correct. We didn’t notice the tiny numbers set high in top corner of door, until the second day. We found the correct apartment by trying the key in every door till we found one that opened.

Fantastic location, in easy walking distance from everything: cafes, restaurants, city centre shops and sights, Bryggen, Fløybane, central station, museums and galleries. Small supermarket just around the corner (100m). Reasonably well-equipped for a short stay. Very clean and neat. Keylock system worked well. Owners easy to contact by messaging and responded fairly quickly.

It is on the third floor with no lift and it's actually one small room, sofa, bed and kitchenette altogether. Not good for 3 adults.

There was an issue with the plumbing of the shower. I contacted through booking.com number and half an hour later a maintenance person came to the property and fixed it efficiently.

There was a lit Exit sign in our bedroom which was on all the time. Up on the 5th floor, very high up when walking with packs. We had difficulty finding the address.

We actually stayed in a different apartment as this one needed repairs. Comfortable.

There were no chairs nor a table to sit at to at least have breakfast (just a small coffee table and you needed to sit on the floor). The flat is small and has a family of three we barely fit in when the sofa bed was open, so I think it is more suitable for a couple . The main downside is the alley leading to the flat entrance, which is very smelly due to garbage bins and the kitchens of a couple of pubs nearby. No parking space around so I strongly advice to not bring a car. Parking in a garage nearby was 10 euros for 1 hour!

We asked for an early check in and the staff was super helpful which was really nice and appreciated. The location of the flat is central at walking distance from all the main attractions. The flat is nice, clean and new, has a well equipped kitchen with a big refrigerator and a nice bathroom with a washing machine.

The entrance is through the back of a nightclub / restaurant. Terrible smell from the bins (not in the apartment though). Beds are located in the main living room / kitchen area, with 1 being a sofa bed, therefore for 4 people you either have no sofa for sitting, or you have to re-make the sofa / bed every day.

Location right in the city centre of Bergen., a few minutes walk from most major attractions. Washing machine.

The neighboring business had rubbish bins in the entrance courtyard which smelt awful. Thankfully the smell didn't make it into the apartment. There were no black out curtains installed so apartment was light all night (looks like these have been bought but not yet installed)

Lovely apartment in great location to explore central Bergen with lovely restaurants nearby. Was very handy to be able to come and go through the day

Staff not available after hours. We had an issue with our apartment on Saturday evening and our message wasn’t acknowledged until the next morning. If we hadn’t managed to fix it ourselves, we would have been unable to sleep there that night. Skimpy on some basic necessities.

Clean and comfortable. We had a studio and it was a good size for a couple. Great location, easily walkable to most attractions and to public transit.

The plumbing in the bathroom/laundry is an major ongoing problem in Studio 303. Washing machine rinse cycle flooded area - it hasn't been fixed from previous people's reports. Three floors of steep spiral stairs must be mentioned in advertising this property. Does Booking.com have a duty-of-care policy?

Studio 303 : Kitchen facilities - though no table and chair to enjoy your meals on. Close to centre of town - if you survive the stairs.

Washing machine was leaking water, we gave up after 1x wash. The shower was also leaking water outside of the shower cubicle. Both instances caused the water to pool in the bathroom with no visible outlet, had to throw all the towels onto the floor to let it dry out. The picture suggests there will be a small dining table but it was nowhere to be found. The dishwasher also had various lights indicating it might be due for cleaning.

Has a dishwasher and a nice big fridge.
