Nothing. It was a great place to stay. Don't be put off by its "kerb appeal"... it doesn't have any.

Not your usual accommodation on Lofoten, The Tide is in a modern building overlooking the harbour. It was very comfortable - we had an excellent room on the corner, with dual aspect, so could sit and watch the comings and goings outside. Very good staff and great food offer both at breakfast and in the evening. Would definitely stay here again, if we are ever lucky enough to pass this way again.

Not much to do in the area once you've done a little bit of walking or maybe I didn't venture much.

Room was comfortable, bed was very nice, slept well. Great view from the room. Staff was friendly Delicious food at the restaurant. Love it. Breakfast was sufficient and I love the variety. Great bathroom amenities.

Absolutely lovely hotel, with a wonderful room - we booked the corner room with a view, make sure to get that, it's absolutely stunning. Breakfast was also absolutely delicious. Staff was super friendly and a joy to speak to.

The breakfast don’t offer many savory vegetarians options. When we came down for breakfast the second day they already run out of waffles and didn’t wanted to restock them… A small refrigerator in the rooms would be useful. Good to know: the hotel is unmanned from 22:00 to 7:00, and between those hours you have to pass by the stairs outside, the lock the front door.

The bathroom is very nice, the products are great, and it’s very warm, which is pleasant after the cold wind.

Really nice staff and good restaurant even though a bit pricey. The rooms are very nice and especially the bathroom. There is a big parking in front of the hotel and the view is nice from the rooms and the restaurant. We recommend!

The location next to the ferry and on the water was why I booked. The hotel was so much than I had expected. Our room had an amazing view of the sunrise! The breakfast buffet was delicious and a great way to start the day

After staying in Rorbuers for a few days, it was SO nice to get to a real Hotel with high quality furniture. Everything seemed very new and nice (Great shower). The temperature in Rorbuers can be a problem sometimes since they're made of wood and badly isolated. So it's either too cold because of the cold weather, or too hot because you have to use heating constantly. Anyways, the temperature in this hotel room was perfect from the start, since it's very well isolated (sturdy, big building compared to most in Lofoten). The staff was nice as well.

There was nothing that I did not like perhaps a better selection of beers the Lofoten beers are excellent as are the beers from the brewery in Bodo , Badin. Maybe a more varied selection of breakfast cereals .

Everyone at the hotel were super polite , attentive, friendly and efficient . All areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean and my room was serviced every day . The food was excellent with plenty choice for dinner and breakfast .

No wardrobe No locker Notwithstanding the bar has a proper espresso and cappuccino machine the decent breakfast does not serve any espresso or cappuccino. Just filter coffee. If you want a coffee or a cappuccino you have to pay for it. Considering the price of the hotel this is not reasonable. The restaurant menu is awful. They serve fish covered by bacon. Main courses are greasy. No bread is available.
