The check-in process is long. Everyone comes by airport shuttle bus so there was a long queue. It would be much better if the hotel can just provide the necessary information in another way instead of telling every guest the breakfast time, check out time and everything one by one. The elevator was broken so had to carry the lugguage on floor down. Also the tap water is not drinkable in out room.

The breakfast is great. Room is super clean.

Blinds really poor to block out midnight sun. I would have expected better black out blinds, nit a great night sleep. Rooms were very warm

Friendly and helpful staff, rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable and clean, free coffee and tea. Location was good. Hotel is literally at the beginning of the main street, tourist information is next to you along with the bus stop for the airport. Nice bars and some pretty cool shops too which are literally 2 mins away.

Breakfast....porridge and baked beans cold, access to jars cereal limited...some rearrangement of BF shelves needed. Coffee instant. All foods need to be hotter. Had to replenish room tea, sugar, etc myself from foyer. Handbasin wouldn't drain so took plug out.

Amazing property!!!! Svalbard actually has a good amount of options for lodging. We LOVED staying HERE! Great spot right downtown Svalbard! Next to some of the best food in town! Amazing helpful staff (beyond helpful)! And very amazing breakfast and rooms/beds! Very happy with the stay! And will recommend this place to anyone traveling to LYR!

Hotel very clean throughout and staff very friendly. Breakfast had a good range of stuff and always had whatever you were in the mood for. Bed really comfy and room perfect. Hotel is located in the centre of the town and a good starting point for any plans you have. The main lobby is also decorated nicely and a good place to have a chill. Would definitely book to go here again.

This hotel is absolutely recommended! Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, nice room and a bathroom with underfloor heating. Particularly noteworthy: the breakfast buffet. Excellent location, fabulous breakfast, quiet room overlooking mountain, everything is in 200m reach. Bus picks you up and delivers you Infront of the hotel. Shoes off rule-I like it. I would def. book here again. Blinds/window-shades are very good for midnight sun. Pillow also thick and fluffy. Beds are really comfy.

For foreigners, I would emphasize and make more visible the sign that you must take off your shoes upon entering.

The hotel nicely blends into the environment of a small northern town. The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view. You can borrow slippers for an excellent breakfast.
