Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PolandThe only drawback is the kitchen located in the basement. It was very neglected and dirty compared to the rest of the facility - the dining room, rooms and bathrooms were definitely much better decorated and cleaned.
The hostel is very well located. A bit off the beaten track, yet within walking distance of all the necessary points. The available breakfast was tasty and varied. The staff was very friendly.

SlovakiaWe had an attic room with a window, and it was 25+ degrees outside with no air conditioning, so the room got pretty hot and made it hard for us to sleep. Also, the shower looked a bit run down, but it was clean.
Very nice small and clean room. Staff was great and helpful. Great value for money if you want a room close to Stavanger city centre.

IndonesiaSmall shower room, and there is only a chair in the room to put your clothes and toulettries stuffs, no such things to hang or keep the clothes on the shower room. And usually the chair is in a wet condition. Should bring a room slipper or that kind otherwise will walk to the shower room barefoot or wear shoes

ThailandI am not used to the shared toilet and bathroom and I misread the advertising while booking the room. I think it is overpriced as the proper hotels are available for almost the same price, but in Forus. Maybe, the price is a market price for centrally located accomodation. Noise isolation is far from good, but the other tennants were very quite. There is no lift and I had 36 kgs of total luggage with me.
Very clean room and very friendly personnel. Kitchen and complimentary tea is available. Late check in is possible, good location.
